Talking it out with the person is definitely a good thing to do before deciding on a second chance.
Second chances really depend on the situation and people involved. It's hard to say if a second chance is wasting time or not if you don't know the situation.
but it's all up to the person giving the second chance. :) Opinions shouldn't be needed.
Yes, if that person apoligizes for somethiing he did then it gives the person to explain himself.
usually i only give certain people one chance but that depends how rude they are to me.

Yeah,you're right. Sometimes second chance can be useful but sometimes can just hurt you more.
