Do you think kids are maturing too fast these days?

This is definetly NOT maturity, its carelessness, they get this from either parents or older syblings, and its the polar OPPOSITE of maturity

Does 9 year old kids have sex? That's new to me. You are talking about extreme cases, not what's normal.

And no, I think children needs to mature in pace with the rest of the society. Sex is a huge part of our society, and it is a natural thing. So the whole "let kids be kids"-thing is not relevant because for the children, this is normal.
What they don't need more of, is parents who can't say no.

Yes- they're maturing fast in terms of their actions and appearences; they're trying to become adults by dressing like one, acting like one and doing all these things...
BUT, in terms of their minds, I think it's still the same. Which is something that bothers me because they're doing all these things to try to look grown up and cool, but in reality they don't even know what more than half of what they're doing means, they don't UNDERSTAND the actions& the resulting consequences- and so problems comes in.
Like those girls dancing to Beyonce wearing slutty outfits- I doubt any of them understood what they are doing other than dancing and getting a lot of attention. It just shouldn't be like this. And then parents these days- WTF? They do everything to promote their child to let them be rich and famous while they're still friggin babies. They honestly need a good backhand.
So anyways, I think yes- kids are maturing fast in terms of their actions but deep down they're still kids, it's the society's twisted views that's changing the way kids act and I really hate it.

Well I listened to my music (Green Day, MCR, Paramore) when I was 10 years old and loved it.
I think toddlers dancing is fine. Heaps do it, its no big problem. But, what kind of dancing do you mean? pro dancing, taking classes? My cousin started doing dancing when she was 4 years old!
