If you can't drink and drive, why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor, and why do bars have parking lots?

It just sounds weird to me.

I think it's to prove your age, it may be harder to forge driving licenses or something like that and bars have parking lots for the staff and also some people don't drink, they're the rid for that night (only some)
