Why do you like Skilene?

Reasons wнч Skilene is ment to be:
Ok, first off Skipper and Marlene do have different personalities, agreed. But they have JUST as much in common that they don't! They are both brave, courageous, they care for other animals and they can talk to each-other like Best friends!They do have feeling for each other, Marlene does show that she often does need his help. And even if Skipper won't admit it, he also needs her help from time-to-time. In my opinion (no offence to Juliene fans) but Marlene does find Julien annoying, its a proven fact. Marlene is too sweet, caring and down-to earth for Mr King of the lemurs... Skipper and her have a LOT in common, there is no denying it. But they also don't have things in common,its a perfect match! And look at the way they look at each-other in SOOO many episodes! There is nothing cuter than two friends becoming a couple!! The proof is there and its hard-core!

I like skilene because skipper and marlene belong with each other! some people think their personalities are too different. But opposites attract!!

The best episodes of the show, in my opinion, feature those two in it. They both can kick butt, and look absolutely cute together!

Personally, I dislike Skilene, so may I answer as to why I DON'T like it?
Why I dislike: 1. the REALLY crazy fangirls. And I mean REALLY crazy. The ones that insist it is cannon. The ones that bash you if you don't like Skilene or like a different SkiperX or MarleneX pairing, etc...
Plus, I just don't think they mix very well. People say they are opposites attract, but think. Are they really? They have quiet a few similarities. For one, we've both seen that they are both pretty independent, and at the same time, dependent. I won't go into details, because I'm REALLY lazy right now (it's super early in the morning), but just think and you might get what I'm talking about. Next, Skipper has made his opinion on females, and mammals, pretty clear, I think. And really, sorry, but the "I-like-you-so-I'm-going-to-act-like-I-hate-you" thing only exists in anime. Not rl (then again PoM isn't rl but it's not anime). Plus, half of the "hints" are invalid. I will say a few seem kinda ship-y but I think Marlene may have a SLIGHT crush on Skipper, however, I don't think Skipper returns the feelings at all. If you really look carefully, heck, there are more Julene hints: and YES, for Marlene too, not just Julien. Don't believe me? Ask to see/know what they are and I will GLADLY tell you.

I like this pairing because... Skilene rocks!!! We've got evidence. The writers seem to support Skilene, but they won't give it to us Skilene fans straight: that Skilene rocks!

When I first saw season 1 ep 3 I liked them for that time since now and forever!

They are the only pairing on PoM that makes SENSE. I mean, they complete each other. Skipper needs a softer side, and Marlene needs a more aggressive side. I just don't understand the logic of Julene, Marski, etc... I mean, just imagine how THAT would work out... And plus, they're TOTALLY cute together, in my opinion. :3

I, personally, am ambivalent towards Skilene. I think it's cute, I say 'Aww!!' out loud to a lot of Skilene moments, when watching The Penguins of Madagascar. But I don't think it will happen, unless you count the Skilene moments we see as 'Skilene already happening'. I guess a part of me DOES count that as it happening. But every single part of my brain agrees on one point: Skilene will not happen, unless it is for one episode and one episode only. And, to be honest, I wouldn't want it to escalate, for more than one episode. It would take away a lot of the humour and general epicness of the show. Also, it would close a lot of other pairings. I think the Skilene moments we already have are good enough.

By the way, my favourite word is 'ambivalent'. :3
