Contest attributes - Who thinks Beauty should be red and Cool should be blue?

The colors of the contest attributes in the Pokémon games (blue for Beauty and red for Cool) seems contrary to color symbolism worldwide. Globally, the color red is associated with beauty, and the color blue is associated with coolness or coldness. T.J. in Power Rangers in Space even has a "Cool Blue" quote, and he was previously the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo.

So, who thinks the colors should be switched? I personally do, should Contests return in Gen VI.

Those reasons do make sense and I do find that Beauty is more closely associated to red rather than blue and it might be a good idea if they did but I'm not sure if they'd do it.

Well I believe that blue if fine for beauty, because that type of blue is prettier or MORE BEAUTIFUL than red, while red as more of a badass, COOL color. The light blue they use ISNT VERY COOL and almost the opposite, while the red they use ISNT VERY BEAUTIFUL.

Well, the red that is used is really more orange (the same shade representing the Fire-type). Ironically, no Fire-type moves are Cool moves; most are Beauty. I would make Cool a cool icy shade of blue, while I would make Beauty a beautiful scarlet color.

Well I agree on both ways because the type of 'beauty' mentioned totally fits onto both slots because the word 'beauty' may refer to something else in other fanpoppers' minds and for me, though it reminds me of both I'm more on the side of where Poke'mon normally had it. Ice moves like Ice shard would represent for me as beauty because well simply because it is overall dazzling and beautiful to watch that move in real life or the anime.
I think that other people just see things differently, I understand what you mean by the word beauty normally refers to 'hot and stylish' like me but there is always other things it can mean.
P.S. I totally understand what you mean about 'cool' and ice, as I said earlier........ It definitely fits!!!!!!!!!!!
