Period Drama Fans Question
Can you recommend me some good books?
I would like to read some book similar to Jane Austen's style, something witty and romantic.

I would like to recommend you some good books to read but I have to admit I'm not a good reader...I don't have enough time!!! So reading a book usually takes me ages :)
Anyway I enjoyed a lot reading Sherlock Holmes stories but I don't think that is your cup of tea.
So if you want something a little bit more romantic try Elizabeth Gaskell novels or even Elizabeth Gaston novels. She is a passionate Jane Austen fan as well and the author of several novels, including Mr. Darcy's Daughters.
I haven't read any of her novels yet but it could be fun!

I read a few of Marian Keys novels a while back and they were actually really interesting to read... Some of her stories are romatic with mystery mixed in :)

There are two novels i would recommend the first one being - "A place to call home" by Deborah Smith. It's a story of a budding romance bewtween two young hearts. The second one being - "Paradise" by Judith MacNaught. It's a very inspirational romantic story.Hope this is of some help <3
