This is Halloween~Penguins of Madagascar

I was halfway to New York, walking along the side of the highway in a rainstorm feeling like a drowned rat when suddenly someone grabbed me and threw me in a cage. "A penguin?" The bug-eyed creep of a human asked, "You belong in a zoo boy.." I struggled to get free but it was no use. After while I gave up on escaping the cage. We made a few stops, one of which the guy noticed my gituar. He took it from me and said it would sell for a good price. We travelled onward for two more days before we reached the Central Park Zoo. He pried me out of the cage by my scruff and carried me into the zoo...

We sailed for days before we reached the shores of Mexico. Over those days I got aquainted with the crew. The 'Boss' was affectionately known as 'Whopper'. The jerk that I tried my best to avoid as much as possible was Earl Brick. Then there was Josie the strange loon. I think she was the thin little line keeping me from going crazy on that ship to Mexico. Speaking of which, when I stepped off that floating tub and fought off a rotten case of sealegs me and Josie decided to check out the marketplace. The war called me to fight not long after I married Hanna. My one focus was on the war, and the war alone. I promised Hanna before my departure that I would write her every day. I did. For a while..
Then I started writing a letter a week..
..a letter every few weeks..
..then I forgot almost entirely about her..
The war got feircer and the battles got rougher. I'd lost track of Hans in my whirl-pool of life. As far as I was concerned he was a thing of the past. I was above my past for all I knew, and I wasn't looking back. Then one day I recieved a letter from Hanna stating that she was carrying...

I saw Hans more and more after that. Eventually we became friends and were doing the typical things teenage boys do when they hang out. Punch each other in the shoulder and come up with pranks. Some pranks we carried out, others remained on the drawing board in our minds. The one thing I never forgot though, was Hanna. She would, at times slip from my mind, but then my fast-paced life at the camp would mellow down when night fell and thoughts would keep me awake at night. Most of those thoughts were on Hanna, but sometimes my mind would wander through the woods behind our camp. My thoughts...

I suddenly realized what was happening. I couldn't follow Leeland home! I couldn't face home! I couldn't stand the thought of seeing my mother again. It wasn't because I hated her, I felt guilty, and I was running from that feeling.
