Finally the lights flashed on, and without having any contact with the door, Skipper and Private witnessed it slam open before their own eyes. "Come on," Skipper said. "No, no, I can't go in there! No!" Private whined like he was in a trance. Skipper grasped his flipper, and dragged him inside. Skipper kept his grip tight until he found Kowalski and Rico by the stairs. "Are you both all right?!" Skipper asked startled. "Yes, but something happened in the basement." Kowalski said out of breath. "All right, Rico, take Private upstairs and keep an eye on him. Kowalski, you're coming with me." Skipper ordered.
When they made it downstairs, they saw the team crowded around Ramona, who was on her knees with her head deep in her flippers, crying. Skipper pushed through the team, and went to his former girlfriend. Between her sobs he listened, trying to make out her words. "She-was-right--here. It's my-fault-all my-fault." She weeped. Skipper dried her tears. "No, it's not. Don't blame yourself. I know I'd feel the same way if ... that happened to one of my boys. Here, let me help you up the stairs." He sympathized. "No," She said sternly. "I was just-" He stammered. "No, your little one is still alive. Go to him. Cherish him, because you never know if today will be your last day with him." She said. "You're right," Skipper gasped realizing what he had gotten his team into.
The two entered the room in silence. Private sat bawling while he gently rocked back and forth in the rocking chair. Skipper waddled over to him. "Hey, you okay?" He asked lightly. Private shook his head, as he cried. "Come here," Skipper said, and sat down as Private got up. "Sit on my lap. We need to talk more." He said.
The gloomed penguin did as he was told. "It was her wasn't it, Skippah?" He said. Skipper nodded. "She was a good kid ... just like you. You know, I would never let anyone hurt you, Kowalski, or Rico, right?"
"I know, but she was so young. Why, how could anyone do that?!"
"I don't know, Private. I'm sorry."
"I'm scared. If you're protecting us, how can you protect yourself?"
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."
"I think some of us should go investigate. Rico and I will go." Kowalski offered.
"No, I'll go," Skipper sighed.
"Private wants to talk to you." Kowalski said.
"You're right," Skipper said.
When Kowalski and Rico reached the bottom of the stairs they saw Ms. Williams, as timid as a lamb.
"Is everyone all right?" She quiverwed.
"Afraid not, Ellie was murdered." Kowalski answered.
"Oh, that poor child." She gasped.
They reached the cluttered basement in no time. Blood flooded the floor in colossal puddles. Kowalski examined the spill.
"I suspect the culprit must have used a knife or dagger like object." The scientist declared.
"Where's the body?" Rico grunted.
"What? You mean, it-it's not here?"
"Yeah,"
The penguins searched the whole bottom floor, but found nothing else. "That's odd, indeed." The tall penguin discovered. Rico inspected the evidence for DNA.
"Anything?"
"Nah,"
Just then the door at the top of the steps slammed shut. "Hello?" Kowalski called. Rico lit a candle. The door thrashed open. "That was freaky." Kowalski shivered. "Uh-huh," Rico nodded. Right before them, a shadow raced past the doorway.
"Who was that?" The pyschotic penguin gasped.
"Was that aborition wearing a wedding dress? Stay here." Kowalski wondered.
He journeyed away from his friend. There was a lone door at the end of the room. Kowalski crept toward it. As he proceeded forward, something inside the closet was banging the door.
With a quaking flipper he turned the knob, hesitantly. The door creaked as it was being opened, revealing its secrets. It was just a closet.
Shelves were stacked on the walls, covered in old toys. The stuffed animal eyes stared blankly in an eerie manor. Suddenly a monkey with cymbals, smashed its instruments together with a startling CRASH! Both penguins jmped, but relaxed.
Kowalski put his flipper on the door, and was about to close it when something worse happened. All the toys flew from the shelves, out of the closet, knocking Kowalski down. They moved like a gust of wind tossed them.
"Please, don't die, Skippah!" Private whimpered.
"What makes you think that'll happen?"
"There's some one coming after us!"
"Listen, I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect you."
"Please!"
"Okay, I promise." Skipper paused. "I remember when you were little, I used to hold you in my flippers like this."
"Yeah,"
"You used to chew on my flippers, too."
"Did I bite a lot?"
"No, you gnawed. No matter how you old you become, you'll always be my Young Private."
"I know," Private said snuggling his head into his leader's chest.
"Try getting some sleep, okay."
"I can't. Everytime I close my eyes, I see some one coming after me!"
"You're safe. Just imagine something else, how about rainbows, quilting, and those loopy unicorns from the moon."
"I'll try," Private muttered, and fell asleep rapidly.
Rico extended his flipper to help his friend up. Still in shock, he accepted his investiagtion partner's kind gesture.
"Thanks, now let's go before something else happens." He said.
As they waddled upsatirs, a toy train's wheels rotated, going nowhere. It sat on its side in the blood puddle. Suddenly, it was volleyed into the air, and exploded into pieces.
(The penguins are enjoying a lovely, peaceful day at the zoo, getting bad cases of sunburn without mercy.)
Kowalski: I think I’m getting a cloud burn, Skipper.
Skipper: Right, and can’t you see my bad case of moon burn? Seriously, man, there isn’t a cloud in the sky.
Private: It doesn’t matter. I have a sky burn. What can you do for something like that?
Skipper(threateningly): Whack some sense into yourselves or I will do it for you. Actually, Rico, pass me the sky block. SPF 15, soldier. I do like to keep a decent figure.
Rico coughs up the sky block, moon block, and even the cloud block...

If King Julien Ruled the World...
If King Julien Ruled the World...
It's the Nickelodeon Stars, the BTR's (Big Time Rush) hit song, but in Julien's Version. What would he do if he ruled the world? Here's the lyrics!

Julien:
You know it’s King J-U-L-I-E-N!
I'm King Julien!

If I Ruled the World, I’d throw all my treasures in the air like Confetti.
If I Ruled the World, every house got a DJ and an All-night Dance Party.
I break all the borders down, when I shake my Booty.
If I Ruled the World, I’d laugh out loud.

So everybody get up (up), up (up), outta your seats,
Kick off Mort if he touches your feet,
Look up (up), up (up), at the Sky Spirits,
Singing 'Ayo, ayo,...

Monique walked over to the dock and put her purse in her secret spot before sitting down. She didn't need the clock on her phone to tell her that it was too early for anyone, even her as someone who isn't a morning person, to be awake. Though, during these past few months, thoughts have been flooding the aspie's mind causing her to wake up completely early in the morning. It had been a few months since Kowalski and the others left for their mission over seas. She always felt the urge to come to the dock around this time, since it always gave her the reminder that they'll be back soon. She always...

Remember, in this chapter Skipper is a chick
Fact you need to know about this chapter: Military Mascots were animals who came to the wars and helped keep the soldiers' spirits up and remind them of their pets (Plz don't kill me if you think I'm wrong, I read it at school!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The military officer had taken Skipper to be his team's mascot.
Skipper didn't like it one bit at first, he hated the training that the soldiers did which took forever each day, the fish was horrible, and gun fires terrified him.
The only fun time he got was when he got attention from the...
Chapter 5: Tranquility Lane
Private made it to a small abandon car repair shop. Private looked at his Pip-Boy to see if he went to the right place, and it said Vault 112. Private went inside anyways to see what he could find. The place was old and dusty, cobwebs everywhere. Private noticed a huge door on the floor on the far-left side of the room, and walked to it. He opened the door and it showed stairs that lead to the basement. He went down, but saw that this wasn’t the basement at all. Instead it was the entrance to Vault 112. Private looked at the control panel, and just simply just pressed...
Chapter 3: Mutant Nightmare
Private left Megaton and made his way to the Galaxy News Radio Station. Private figured out how to put directions into his Pip-Boy, and it was easier then he thought. He just had to put the name of the location he wanted to go to, and the Pip-Boy would serve as a GPS. He had a bit of ways to go, but he’d go any distance to see his father again. He waddled a long road, but his Pip-Boy led him to an underground train station. Private looked at the directions again to make sure it wasn’t wrong, and it wasn’t. The underground train station was actually a shortcut...
I could hardly see through the tears. "Skipper!" I cried, pulling away from my mother. I ran after Skipper and my unfaimiliar father. I knew I could save my younger brother. After all dad wanted both of us. Our parents had divorced right after Skipper was born. Our mom got both of us and ever since then our dad wanted one of us.
It's my bedtime now I'll write more later.
They dashed through the water. Rocky waves thrashed above. A stormy sky blew its wrath upon the ocean. It was like a child's tantrum, pelting rain to the water's surface non-stop. Every trace of light from the sky was masked by the clouds.
Beneath the surface of the water were the five penguins. Rico was occupying himself by snacking on every fish that swam by. They were actually quite beautiful with a certain grace. Their vivid colored scales shimmered under the reflected light.
Skipper turned his head to find Private missing from his side. He stopped, and scanned around for his soldier. His...
Private sat next to his Skipper on the shore of the pond sticking his feet in. The leader carried two fishing rods. Private was very much younger. His saphire eyes looked even bigger than how they became.
"So why did you want to go fishing, sir?" Private chirped.
"I wanted to talk to you." Skipper said.
"What're these sticks for?" Private pondered. He was pointing to the rods.
"You mean the fishing poles?" Skipper asked both puzzled and astonished.
"Yeah," Private nodded.
"You've never been taught how to fish, at least with a pole?" Skipper questioned. When he was Private's age, he had been taught...
She was looking at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe her eyes. She never thought that her life would come to this and, even if she had, she thought it would be just part of some dream or imagination from her fairy tale loving younger self. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach from being excited and nervous.
"This will definitely be the best day of your life, Monique," Marlene said, remembering her wedding day with Skipper.
"What if things don't go well? Maybe he'll change his mind at the last minute, maybe something could go wrong," Monique stuttered, thinking about the relationship...
“Skipper, we are going for a long time, can we stop? I’m tired” said Kowalski.
“Me too” said Private, Rico nodded.
“Ok” said Skipper and they sat down.
“How we get back to the zoo?” asked Kowalski.
“Kowalski, you always giving options” said Skipper.
“Oh, right...”
“Firstly, we must go out of this tunnel” said Skipper.
“Ok, I think it’s late” said Private and yawned.
“You can fall asleep” said Skipper.
Fifteen minutes later
Kowalski, Rico and Private fell asleep. But Skipper couldn’t sleep. He wanted to be sure, that nobody attack them or follow them. Finally...
