We\'d be lyign if we said we didn\'t spontaneously burst into tears on the way to work this morning thinking about One Direction\'s performances on The X Factor last night. We\'re only human, for crying out loud. And - as if we weren\'t emotionally unstable enough - we\'re now sat here watching the boys\' thank you message and pretending we have hayfever. In Decemeber. It saves the embarrassment.

Yup - following their performances of \'Infinity\' and \'History\' on the telly talent show final last night Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson sent fans *the* cutest thank you vid to close the \'first chapter\' ahead of the break-not-break-up.

Making our tummies feel actually physically sick, the boys (aka Liam) said: "This is just a massive, massive thank you to all of our fans. Obviously you guys made all this happen for us and we can\'t believe the way that you\'ve supported us over the last five years and today\'s a very special day for us because this is like the last part of our first chapter.

"A massive thank you, honestly. We cannot believe you guys, you\'re amazing; the most dedicated people I think we\'ve ever seen in our lives. So thank you for enjoying us over the years and I hope there\'s many more years to come."
