ONE DIRECTION TO PERFORM IN THE BBC RADIO 1 LIVE LOUNGE THIS THURSDAY 

 ​If you felt your ears doing a wiggly dance of joy yesterday then there\'s only one possible explanation – they\'re already excited by the magical thought of One Direction performing in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge in just three days time. 

Yup, just one day ahead of their fifth album launch, this Thursday will see the boys making an appearance in the Live Lounge for the first time EVER, with six stripped back songs and one surprise cover. 

Can we get a collective \'oooh\' and \'ahhhhh\' for this news please?

Thursday 12th November is now a very important date in your diary and sure to be one of your best life days EVER, after Greg James confirmed the joyful news following the boys\' big win at the Radio 1 Teen Awards. 

Now please stand back while we unravel our ten mile long list of songs we\'ve been dreaming that One Direction would cover for YEARS. 

All the deets about song choices and potential arrangements are still very hush hush, but if One Direction happen to have stumbled across Sugarscape this avvy, we\'ve got a few suggestions for what we\'d like to see/hear go down please.

Well first and foremost it\'s probably gonna be six performances of songs from the new album, isn\'t it? Stripped back, acoustic, naked and BEAUTIFUL.

But, the cover song - an excuse for something shiny and brand new, or an excuse to go OLD SCHOOL. Nothing\'s gonna make your feels flood over like the boys signing \'Teenage Dirtbag\' again.

Or y\'know, they could do \'Torn\', which would complete the circle of life and probably mean the end of civilisation as we know it.

If you fancy something a bit more current then we\'d suggest \'Hotline Bling\'. Preferably with Niall recreating Drake\'s dance moves please.

Has there ever been a Disney themed Live Lounge? Liam singing \'Part Of Your World\' is something we\'d be interested in.

OOOH maybe something seasonal with a Christmas song? We\'d quite like a One Direction rendition of \'Baby It\'s Cold Outside\', and Louis could even shake his sleigh bells in the background for extra Xmas points.

Sure we\'re excited about the vocals, but after 5SOS brought in an actual orchestra for their Live Lounge, 1D could get instrumental too. Louis playing the piano, Niall playing the guitar, Liam playing the tambourine, Harry playing the triangle? Done.

Whatever the lads choose to perform, it\'s probably going to be quite good. And by quite good, we mean the single best thing that\'s ever happened to us.
