Once Upon A Time Question

What does Rumplestiltskin do with the children?

When he makes deals, judging by what he asked Cora and Cinderella for, he tends to ask for new born children. Over the 300 years he's been alive, that must be at least a few children. We've never seen them, so where do they go. What does he do with them?

He is a despicable creature he probably kills them or just locks them away. It's kind of sad that after he loses Bae he was ready to start another family with Cora and Bae would just be out of the picture.

Yes, he is despicable but everything he does is for his own gain. Killing them and locking them away is is useless and pointless and would not benefit him in any way. I also very much doubt he would just forget about Bae, especially after everything he went through to get him back. Nearly everything he did that we saw in the 300 years was, in some way, designed to help his plan to travel to the world without magic. I do think that he saw his child with Cora as a second chance to do it again.

My guess is; much like using Henry and Owen to try to fill the void in her heart left by Dan's death, Gold is trying to fill in the void left by Bae.

Yes, I'd say that's the reason he wants them but what happens to them? Do they live with him? Where do they go? What would he do with the babies?

The issue with this theory is why did he not keep James, the one baby We know he successfully acquired.

It could be anything. I question Gold all the way.

He uses them to gain favors with powerful people. For example he took James (Charming's brother) from Ruth and gave him to King George in exchange for something I assume. It has also been implied that Rumple got Henry for Gina.

So he gives them away and uses them as leverage? I suppose that would make sense, Cora was going to be royalty as was Cinderella. Henry for Gina we knew.
