Emigration and immigration are both forms of migration. If you move out of a country, you have emigrated, and you are an emigrant.

If you move into a country, you have immigrated, and you are now an immigrant.

Either way, or even if you move within the same country, you have migrated, and you are a migrant.

So if I migrated from the US to China, I will have emigrated from the US to become an immigrant in China. Just remember that the "e-" prefix means out and the "im-" prefix means in.

They are not the same.

Complexion refers to the quality of appearance, regardless of the color,
like the evenness of the tone.


For example,
"to get an even complexion using makeup."

or

"she has a nice complexion"
