As a mustang convertible slowly made its way down the cul-de-sac, a girl in it named Spectra, sighed.Her mom was taking her to live with her cousins, Cleo, Nefera, and their dad Ramses. "Sweetie, you're going to have to stay with your cousins until your father and I return from our job trips." Spectra's mother said. " Why can't I just come with you guys?" Spectra asked. " Because there would be no one to keep a close eye on you." said Spectra's mom. Little did each of them know that Spectra was going to be in a lot more danger in Vanderbilt than where her parent's job trips would take them.
June 9th
It was only the second day she had been there and Vanderbilt had already bored her out of her mind. Everybody was just soooo happy that she was visiting. Yeah right, Spectra thought. " Spectra! My friends are coming over and my dad wants you to hang out with us." Cleo said. " Coming." Spectra said. It's not like she had anything better to do. When Spectra reached Cleo's room, she saw four girls. "Spectra, this is Frankie. This is Draculaura. That's Clawdeen, and there's Lagoona.A boy named Holt was looking in the window. He looked around the room and saw what he normally saw when he looked in Cleo's window. However, when his eyes reached the purple haired beauty, he just stopped and stared. Holt had never seen her before. " Would you guys mind if I go for a walk by myself?" Spectra asked." Go ahead. You can do whatever you want." Cleo said. As soon as Holt saw Spectra come outside, he followed her. After walking about a block, Spectra turned around, sensing something wrong." Hello?" she said nervously. Holt ducked out of sight every time Spectra turned around. A boy named Deuce came by and asked Holt who the hottie he was following around was. " Her name is Spectra. She's Cleo's cousin." Holt said. All of a sudden, a guy wearing a hood jumped out from behind a tree and grabbed Spectra's arms and covering her mouth so she couldn't call for help. Holt and Deuce were so wrapped up in their conversation they hadn't even seen what was going on. When they turned their heads back where Spectra was, she was gone.
