Lord of the Rings Question

Is it just me or does it seem that smeagol seems awfully forgotten in this Lord of the rings club

I really like gollum/smeogal but he is always forgotten although he is a main charachter....why do you think this happens

First off, I'd like to point out that he is not physiclly appealing (to most), and there are a lot of people who like to post "Hottest character" images, picks, videos, etc.
Secondly, no one, unless they're bi-polar, can relate to him, because he's evil (And I think 'bad guys' in general don't get as much attetion).

Well i suppose that makes sense but he actually is a quite interesting and complicated charachter and when 'smeagol' is in control he isnt the most gruesome thing in the world and Aragorn is great and all but it is very hard to believe that no one sympathizes with the baddy because a lot of the time the baddy is a favourite because they are NOT normal. Eg.Joker in the dark knight....Dracula from van helsing.....Belatrix lexstrane from harry potter....Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd and the Demon Barber Of Fleet Streeet....The Hessian From Sleepy Hollow.....The evil Gremlins from Gremlins...The list goes on and on oh and i noticed davy jones from Pirates of the carribean had his own page and he is a squid thingg

But spots like Edward Cullen, and Jack Sparrow are even more popular, and have more content in them.

Yeah I agree with Jokerrocks, because they all have their own story behind them, and are driven a bit mad by them e.g Sweeney Todd, driven mad by revenge - it makes it appealing and interesting... to me anyways =D

i think it's because he is computer annimated.if he were a real person acting it might have been diffrent.I know andy does the voice and wears the blue suit so they can track him but it's not the same as being in the flesh .hope that made sense.

Smeagol died in the end by tring to betray frodo. If he had done somthin heroic in the end. Or even somthing evil but clever then he would be more popular. I mean come on Bitin off his finger?? what is he a rabid rabbit. Try this reprensentation of Gollum/Smeagol.
