, but if you listen a little closer you\'ll notice that the lyrics have more meaning than you might first expect.

Fans were quick to note that the narrative of \'Secret Love Song pt. II\' could actually apply to the struggles the LGBTQ community face when coming to terms with their sexuality and showing affection in public.

"Why can\'t I hold you in the street? Why can\'t I kiss you on the dance floor?" the four-piece sing on the swooping chorus.

One listener tweeted Little Mix stating that they hadn\'t realised the subtext the track contains, but nothing gets past those four and they were already well aware.

\'Secret Love Song pt. II\' is on the deluxe version of Little Mix\'s third album

, which was released worldwide earlier today (November 6).

The first part of the song, \'Secret Love Song\', features Jason Derulo and is rumoured to be their next single later this year.

However, Jason\'s verse wasn\'t inspired by LGBT issues, but instead his own struggle of falling for a girl who was already in a relationship.

"I told a true f**king story about this girl that I am really into, but she has a boyfriend - but we still do our thing," Derulo recently told us.​
