Deadpan Snarker: A character who exists to deflate pomposity, point out the unlikelihood of certain plans, and deliver funny lines. It implies that the snarker would make a good leader, strategist or consultant.
Hidden Depths: A character who, deep down, is much more than what they seem like. This character often gets written off as one thing, but is truly quite different beneath the surface. Often the "true" version of the character is pretty much the opposite of their surface version.
The Dandy: The Dandy is intensely concerned with his clothing and appearance; he's always well-groomed and generally avoids physical exertion, lest he become mussed. He usually prides himself on being a cool, laid-back customer with his own unique flair. The Dandy is also typically a hedonist who highly values comfort and living the good life.
Took a Level in Kindness: A somewhat mean character who becomes kinder and more compassionate over time. This is usually the result of character development, and in most cases the character maturing as a person. They end up being a very well-rounded, caring character, while still retaining their sarcastic flare.
The Fashionista: This character is, quite simply, a character whose defining trait is being well-dressed and extremely interested in fashion (and beauty).
Lovable Alpha Bitch: The character is attractive, popular, manipulative, exclusive and... not so bad once you get to know them. They still hang out with the popular crowd, but displays a lot of loyalty towards the other characters, and definitely has a softer side.
Good Bad Boy: A character who has the typical traits of being a bad boy (confident, cool and mysterious), deep down they are not really all that bad. The character, unlike many other Bad Boys, displays qualities of being empathetic and considerate towards others, thus balancing the kind and the cool.
Brutal Honesty: A character who is not afraid to speak their minds, and is always perfectly honest and straightforward. Sometimes they might say what everyone else is thinking, but are just too polite to say. The character is always sincere no matter what the topic is, and doesn't circle around different issues, but addresses them head on.
World of Snark: A world filled with characters who are always extremely sarcastic and sometimes cynical. This is not to say that the character is incapable of having genuine, tender moments. The character balances snark and genuine emotion quite well.
Brilliant, but Lazy: A character who is more than capable of taking care of any situation that the heroes have to deal with, but doesn't care. They'd rather relax and do nothing to help. Expect them to be very sarcastic as well. In less severe cases, the character is simply someone who is not living up to their full potential.
The Prankster: A character who loves practical jokes, and will not be selective about who they choose for a target. They sometimes end up using their tricks against the story's villain, somehow besting them with practical jokes. The character is usually humorous, carefree and intelligent.
Manchild: A character who isn't as socially or intellectually mature as people would like them to be. In the most common cases, the character simply uses tactics like making jokes to avoid emotional situations, and are uncomfortable when things get too deep or too meaningful. They're usually pretty funny, too.
Drama Queen: Characters who act dramatically a lot of the time, or at least when they have little reason to. They tend to exaggerate things, and use dramatic vocabulary to make things seem more extreme than they are.
Sir Swears-a-Lot: A character with a distinguishing characteristic of swearing noticeably more, or at least in harsher words, than the rest of the cast. They often do this without even noticing, the swear words having become a regular part of their daily vocabulary.
