JosepineJackson Question

What movies have made you cry?

Since I am rewatching lots of movies these days (as well as watching a lot of ones for the first time) and again sometimes having nostalgic memories about my blog that I used to write exactly a year ago,in my movie reviews I always told about emotions some movies make us experience, whether they make us laugh, cry in the end (and not only), whether something else.
I just wanted to ask what movies have made you surround yourself in wet tissues?
For me - have to admit, a movie has to be really special to make me cry. It doesn't happen that often actually. Of course sad love stories like "Cold Mountain" cause some tears but I remember two movies that have really caused a waterfall, they are "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" and a quite recently "The Brave".

Me too, it's enough for me to just remember those scenes of a dog, waiting in a train station or Raphael taking off his bracelet and placing it on his child's pillow (basically all from that scene til the very end) and I already tear up a bit 😭

Imitation of Life (the 1959 version)

Oh, my god, that movie is the saddest EVER!!! Especially the funeral scene where Sarah Jane cries over her mother's coffin "Momma, momma, I didn't mean it! I did love you! Momma!' Like I'm tearing up, now just thinking about it. *grabs tissue!* *grabs three tissue boxes!!*

Godzilla (1998) I'm sorry but when the baby Godzilla's were killed, I was crying! I know they were bad but come on! Like seriously!? *grabs whole case of tissue boxes!*

Yep, usually the movies that make us really cry are not bittersweet love stories, exactly themes about family, animals etc. are the ones that touches our hearts the most 💙
