It looks like James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender may be reprising their roles as leading men of Fox’s X-Men a while longer. Heroic Hollywood is reporting a rumor that the two stars signed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox over the weekend that will have them both appearing in future X-Men movies.
McAvoy and Fassbender have played Charles Xavier and Magneto, respectively, since
was said to be the final film required by their contracts, but both had previously left the door open to do more.
The rumor also suggests that the studio looking to sign back Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) as well. In interviews, Hoult has said he’s open to the idea of returning, but Lawrence has said she is likely done with the franchise after
