160504 Lee Joon Gi and IU's Drama "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo" Changes First Broadcast Date

Looks like we’ll be able to meet this all-star cast sooner than expected!

On May 5, SBS’s “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” announced that they will begin airing on August 29, following the end of “Doctors.” This also means it will be SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama.

Previously, they announced that the broadcast date was confirmed for sometime in September, which has evidently been revised since.

“Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” is a 100 percent pre-produced drama that is set in Korea’s Goryeo Dynasty, but with added modern and fantastical elements as well. It is based on a Chinese web novel and drama.

The drama will also feature an all-star cast that includes Lee Joon Gi, IU, Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, Nam Joo Hyuk, EXO’s Baekhyun, and Ji Soo, to name a few.

Chinese and Thai production teams will be working with producers of the variety show “Dream Team” to create a spin-off of their own.

According to an affiliate of KBS, the Korean-Chinese remake of “Dream Team” will have 10 episodes in total, four of which will be aired in both China and Korea. The Korean-Thai collaboration will have 13 episodes, and three of them will be aired in Korea.

Singer and actress IU is gaining attention after brand new still cuts from the upcoming variety drama “Producer” were recently revealed.

On May 13, the production team of KBS’ highly-anticipated, star-studded new drama “Producer” unveiled still cuts featuring IU.

In order to portray her character in the drama, Cindy, IU transforms into a sexy singer image, which can be seen in the photos. On April 6, KBS released photos of the script reading that took place at the end of March in Gangnam. SHINee's Jonghyun reveals he wants IU to feature in his song

SHINee's Jonghyun dished on his feelings about making his solo debut during his 'hashtag' interview with 1theK!

Jonghyun revealed that he came up with 'BASE' as his album title because his first encounter with music was with the bass instrument, and also mentioned that it rhymes with Taemin's solo album title, 'ACE'. He also chose IU as the artist whom he wants to collaborate with again. Although they previously collaborated for IU's "Gloomy Clock", he said wants IU to feature in his song next time.
