YoonA to forego role in \'Nodame Cantabile\' for a movie debut

It turns out that the role for the female lead in the Korean remake of the Japanese production \'Nodame Cantabile\' is still up for grabs as Girls\' Generation\'s YoonA ultimately turned down the offer and will instead be making her screen debut in a Korean-Chinese movie.

SM Entertainment revealed to OSEN on July 14, "\'Nodame Cantabile\' was one of many offers she had received; after completing her review of it, she has ultimately turned it down."

What she has decided on will be a Korean-Chinese romantic comedy, \'

Goodbye Ani,\' in which she will be playing the bright and lovable female lead, Ani, working alongside a Chinese actor as the male lead.  Filming for her very first movie will begin later this year.

If only Jun Ji-Hyun was still in her twenties, then she would be perfect for this role. Honestly, I\'m glad this happen. I don\'t think Yoona has the personality nor acting skills to give this role justice. I think Bae Suzy would make this role quite interesting, but I don\'t think that is gonna happen.

it doesn\'t matter if she decline the offer because it is her dream to act in a movie so her dream comes true...fighting YOONA we will support you no matter what you do,if that what makes you happy,do it...don\'t listen to those haters who loves to bring you down because they are just nothing but a jealous people who didn\'t do anything good in their life....now,i don\'t need to waste my time watching the remake of Nodame if your not the lead actress....we love you YOONA forever....

I was looking forward to it.. but judging from the hate she is getting for just being considered for the role, she made a good decision♡

We all know it\'s because of the complaints she got. Releasing her potential to star in it was just a feeler to see what the general public thought.  They were almost unanimously against it so they changed plans.  But they made the right decision.

If only Jun Ji-hyun was still in her twenties! I think she would have been perfect for this role. But I\'m glad Yoona turned it down, personality wise and acting skill set wise I don\'t think Yoona has what it takes to due justice to this role. I wanna see Bae Suzy in this role, I think that would be interesting! But I don\'t think that is gonna happen.
