I did at first but as the series went on, I began to dislike him more and more.

I love Dumbledore, he is an awesome character, he's the only one Voldemort ever feared! And the best headmaster Hogwarts ever had... And his personality rocks.

The actor that plays him in the movies does a really bad job though, he just doesn't feel like Dumbledore in the movies.

just like bri-marie, I liked him at the beginning, but as the story progressed it morphed into hate. Manipulative bastard didn't deserve the mercy Snape showed him by killing him.

He is not my fav. character but not my least fav.

In the books, yes. In the movies, not so much. I liked Dumbledore when he was played by Richard Harris. :(

He's not my favorite character and I do not always approve what he does. I mean sometimes he really looks like a manipulative person.
But in the end he's a good person and without him Harry would have died from the beginning.

I must also confess that I never liked Michael Gambon's version. Richard Harris was much better.

I love Dumbledore. Have since the beginning.
