- J.K. Rowling has said that Ginny beat Cho in Quidditch by catching the Snitch right in front of her to show that Ginny was moe worthy of Harry than Cho.
- Many of Ginny's movements are described as being catlike, but her personality doesn't reflect her actions, since her Patronus is a horse and not a cat.

Fred Weasley:

- Fred was born on April 1st, April Fool's Day.
- After Fred's death, his brother George named his son after him.
