Calypso's POV
The nightmares were horrible. They weren't so much as her imagination, but memories. When ever he had one of his random, unpredictable mood swings or got drunk -or both-, he would come into whatever room she was in and beet her, then literaly drag her to 'The room'. It was one of the smallest rooms in the whole manor, like a walk in closet. He would lock her in there, once for days, until one of the house elfs would unlock the door when they new father wasn't drunk and wouldn't notice, and send her to her room. There was never a single time she didnt have a single bruise. Until, of course, she turned eleven. Then she got her letter to Hogwarts, and didn't come home for the holidays. Even though she spent them teasing and consructing a shell around her self, they were the best times she's ever had. No one dared even come near her if they weren't on her good side. At Hogwarts, she was strong, powerful, untouchable. At the Manor, however, she would collapse. Her father was the one person she was afraid of. He was the only one who could reach inside of her and pull out the inner fear. And he would blame her for her mothers death. He would say that she died because of her, and whip and beat her.
And no one could do anything about it. Her father could use magic without a wand, and he had created spells that people hadn't even thought of yet, and not even Calypso new the words to a lot of them. Her father new ways around people and could abuse them and make them weak without even trying.
That's probably why it was such a big shock to Hogwarts, especially the Golden Trio, to see Calypso all bloody and broken down. She had been famous for being the one who would attact people, mentally, and make them feel horrible. Now she was in a hospital bed, and Mrs. Weasly telling the Golden Trio that she had no family to contact. After Calypso killed her father, Hogwarts was the only thing she had that was close enough to home.
"Part of me feels like she deserved it, but part of me feels sorry for her." Hermione muttered, folding her arms. "Yes, she was very mean, but she had an abusive father her whole life and had enough streagths to hide it when she got to Hogwarts."
"Well, yeah, but she was a bitch. I think she deserved it." Ron said, witch imeadeatly got him a punch in the arm from Hermione.
Suddenly Calypso cracked an eye open. She looked them over critically. "You guys are weird.". Then she promptly passed out again.
Harry blinked. "What was that?" Hermione shrugged.
"Probably because she bullied us and now were here by her bedside while she's recovering.".
And that was true. When Calypso woke up, the last people she expected to see were The Golden Trio. She wished she had enough strength to stay awake though, before she became emerged in more horrifying memories. The most horrible one was the last one she had of her mother. And it wasn't a good one. She was going to see her mom when she opened the door and saw a wizard pointing his wand at her mothers falling body. The wizard didn't notice her, but she his face clearly enough. It often haunted her in her nightmares. He had apperated before she could do anything, and left her mothers dying body. Calypso had ran to her, but there was nothing she could do and it was to late to go get her father. So all she could do was put her mothers head in her lap and cry.
"Calypso......" Her mother had choked out. "My little angle...... I love you......" A choked sob escaped Calypso's lips as she saw the light leave her mothers eyes.
No one ever called Calypso by her mothers pet name for her again-her little angle. To every one outside looking in, like Malfoy's mother,(*an: I totally forgot her name but you know who I mean.*) who weren't really bad at heart, who were just born into the wrong family, she was more of a fallen angle.
Fallen angle. Those words haunted her as much as her mothers murders face did. She wasn't sure why, maybe it was because it described her so well. She could be and was a nice person deep down, after all, she was related to her mother who was the nicest witch who ever lived. She even had her mothers hair and eyes, but she had a strong temper and her fathers way of looking at things: it's better to be feared than to be loved.
When Calypso woke up next, she was able to stay awake. It was evening, and there was no one around. Calypso frowned. It was very unusual for no one to be in the hospital wing...... Unless they were eating dinner. Duh. Of course, no one skipped dinner.
Calypso swung her legs over the bed and shakily stood up. Then she realized she was in a hospital gown. Ewww, not her favorite fashion choice. Calypso slowly slunk her way to the dungeons were she saw no one in the Slytherin common room. Must all be at dinner. When she opened the door to her room, it was empty. She quickly changed into her robes and glanced at the clock. It was eight o'clock, dinner was over half an hour ago. She would have seen at least one person on her way over here anyways, since it was practically impossible for one to walk half the castle and see no one. Only after curfew is it possible, but only 50:50. Something definitely was not right.
Sorry it took so long, I'll work on the next one tomorrow!!! ;)

Yay! In a matter of months, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be in theaters! This is the final book, but not the final movie, as it is been put into two parts. But it's in 3D! After you go watch the movie, put your opinion on the fan wall, please. I'll put mine. I can't wait! I'm so ready! I've been watching every HP movie and I have all the books, and Harry's wand! I finished the series three years ago, but I plan on re-reading it. The first preview of the 1st half has been released. I heard these awesome lines. Check it:
"Why do you live?" Voldemort said.
"Because I have something worth living for." Harry said.
Harry said that in another movie, so I guess he was emphasizing it. Check the fan wall later for my favorite book, movie, and quote! See ya!

The Harry Potter Series is wonderful thing. It is a world full of magic that just sparks your imagination. All the creatures are magical and wonderful. The series is full of adventure and romance. I love Harry's character. He has lost his parents, he sometimes feels emotionally challenged, and there is a small dark side to him. It really brings out the mystery in the story. It is an ongoing plot that is a continuing struggle with Lord Voldemort, and every time they think that they've caught him he escapes. I own all the books and have seen all the movies in the theaters. It is full of suspense and action. I think the biggest mystery right now is who will Harry end up with. He has gone through a variety of girls that he likes, although he has always been wavering on the thin line between another girl and Hermione. I guess if you've already read the books you know, but I'm not going to spoil the surprise.
So I was looking on Facebook earlier and just saw an event posted declaring February 20th to be Harry Potter day! =D So this is for all Harry Potter fans to dress up on and show their pride and happiness that Voldemort has finally fallen. I find this to be a great way to keep the spirit of these amazing novels alive because even though we have limited Harry Potter releases left to celebrate, now we can celebrate every year on the 20th of February! I don't know why this date was chosen, but I have a pretty good idea of why it was chosen for this year. Also on February 20th, there will be a lunar eclipse at around 9 PM I believe, so it sounds like a pretty magical day! So Harry Potter fans, dress up on the 20th! Wear your House scarves, sweaters, and ties! Whip out those wands and cast a spell or two and keep the spirit alive!
