Charms:

Finite Incantatem- used to stop a spell.
Expelliarmus- Disarming Charm
Riddikulus- Confusion Charm (used for Boggarts)
Obliviate- Memory Charm
Accio- Summoning Charm
Expecto Patrono- Patronus Charm
Wingardium Leviosa- Levitating Charm
Rictusempra- Tickling Charm
Tarantallegra- Dancing Charm
Reparo- Fixing Charm
Orchideous- Makes Flowers
Avis- Conjures Birds
Diffindo- Ripping Charm
Engorgio- Enlargen
Reducio- Reduce
Densaugeo- Enlargen Teeth
Incendio- Fire
Lumos- Light
Nox- used to extinguish the the light after, "Lumos."
Alohomora- Open Locks
Serpensortia- Conjure Snake
Impervius- Repel Water
Prior Incantato- reveals the last spell casted by a witch/wizard's wand.
Sonorus- Make Your Voice Louder
Quietus- It makes your voice go back to your normal level.

Curses:

The Three Forbidden Curses:

The Imperius Curse: Imperio- Gives the caster full control over the person under the spell.

The Cruciatus Curse: Crucio- It delivers a lot of pain to the person who is being casted under this spell. It's a form of torture.

The Killing Curse: Avada Kedavra- True to it's name; unblockable

The rest of the spells are not as severe as the Forbidden ones.

Petrificus Totalus- Full Body Bind Curse

Stupefy- make someone stop moving.

Reducto(Reductor Curse)- enables the caster to blast solid objects away with this curse.

Morsmordre- Conjure the Dark Mark

nene72 You've forgotten the spells Snape created: 1)Sectumsempra: Like an invisible sword, slashing the target repeatedly. Harry used this one on Draco. 2)Vulnera Sanentur: Counter-curse to Sectumsempra 3)Muffliato spell: a charm that fills a surrounding area with an unidentifiable buzzing, so to provide a private environment for a conversation in a public place. 4)Levicorpus: causes a victim to be hoisted into the air and dangle upside-down. James used this one on Snape. 5)Liberacorpus: counter-curse to Levicorpus 6)Langlock: a jinx or hex that causes one's tongue to affix to the roof of their mouth. There's also the hex that caused toenails to grow alarmingly fast that Harry used on Crabbe but we werent given it's name. Good list though :-)

Ultimately57 Wow, that's a good list. I knew them all, but I couldn't name them straight away in a list. There are some missing, but this list is good!

GoldnSnitch_96 That was a good list! Although I can think of two more, Relashio and bombarda. Also, diffindo is a cutting spell, not a ripping charm. Just sayin' still, good list (:
