Why is VOLDEMORT (yes that's right I sed his name!) such a fucking bastard? x

cause he is voldemort a dark wizard he thinks that if he kills harry he will fore fill the prophecy and be the greatest wizard ever.
and not just that he does not want to die and harry is the only one with the power to kill him voldy only heard the first part of the prophecy he did not hear the 2nd part "neather can live while the other survives"

Because he is? The story does need a villain after all, and it's much easier to root for the defeat and death of a villain which is that evil. Some people say that he's like that because he was conceived under a love potion.

No offence but have you actually even read all books? Or seen the movies? I mean it in the most respectful way possible.

I think it's because voldemort (if any of you flinched, get your act together!) just knows the bad side of muggles. I mean first him mom who is a witch marries a muggle who doesn't know she's a witch then he freaked out and abandoned her to be pregnant with a baby. then once she gives birth, he goes to an orphanage where from what we heard they all hated him because he was different then everyone else and can do weird things and the adults don't care about him, so when Dumbledore comes to get him, he sees the wizarding world is kinder to him and accepts him for being different but then sees that muggles are entering his only safe haven so to his prospective the evil people who hurt his childhood are starting to hurt his new world as well so he tries to get rid of anyone with muggle blood so that another child would never have to see someone else go against this so he can save others. then harry comes along with the prophecy and to whatever bit of sanity he still has thinks that 'he is going to stop me before I can save the others so they don't have to handle it like I did.' in fact if harry was a bit different he probably would have joined him since he only got to see the bad side of muggles but anyway to voldemort he is trying to protect others since if you have two wizard parents, then they won't hurt them since they're the same.

Voldemort was conceived under amortentia, therefore he can't feel love for anything, add onto that years of being bullied as a child in the orphanage, and then finding out that he was more powerful than his bullies. Essentially he's a bullied/abused psychopath and that's not a good combination.

maybe he had a bad childhood

cause voldemort since young, was atracted for the dark magic, and his father's despise to him made his hate for muggles and half-blood , i think voldemort is like a reference to hittler, the most evil person , just think, he was half blood,hittler was half Jewish, and both made a big war
