Yesterday a friend saw my cell phone wallpaper and went 'You like Harry Potter? EWWW!' what should I have said?

I'm sorry, but punching someone because they insulted you by saying "ew" is not justified. Personally, I always like to take the high road, or if not, I like to take the more intelligent response.

I think you shouldn´t have punched her... You should have just said that you like Harry Potter and that if she doesn´t like it, you donn´t care... I don´t really think that anybody should punched somebody else because they don´t have similar likes... that´s just wrong

In the future, when talkingvto that person, make references to Harry Potter and never explain them. Or, you can stop being friends with this person. Or, you can get them to like it. Your choice.

Punching her was a mile too far. You probably should have rolled your eyes and said "Muggle." It's friendlier than a punch to the face, although that part in PoA made me nearly fall out of my chair laughing. CB
