Harry Potter Question

Did this blow your mind?

Did you know that some actors from Harry Potter were also in Alice In Wonderland?! This blew my mind!! I only knew about Helena and Alan, the rest of the actors I was like "NO WAY!" I'll have to go re-watch Alice in Wonderland (for the 100th time now) to see their roles!

Some of them are often cast together in other movies :

- Sense and Sensibility : Alan Rickman (Col. Brandon), Emma Thompson (Elinor), Imelda Staunton (Mrs Palmer), Gemma Jones (Mrs Dashwood), Robert Hardy (Sir John Middleton)

- Sweeney Todd (the Tim Burton movie) : Alan Rickman (Judge Turpin), Helena BC (Mrs Lovett), Timothy Spall (B. Bramford), Jamie Campbell (Anthony)

- Love Actually : Alan Rickman (Harry), Emma Thompson (his wife Karen), Bill Nighy (Billy Mack)

- The King's Speech : Helena BC (Queen Elizabeth), Timothy Spall (Churchill), Michael Gambon (King George V)

I'm sure there are others but I quoted those as I love these movies to pieces.

yeah, the British acting community is much closer (and probably smaller) than the American one, so a lot of the same actors can be seen in a lot of movies together.

I actually didn't know that Alan Rickman would be in the movie but OMG it is so obvious when you see it. That voice! ^^ I knew the second I heard him. Brilliant! The others I really had no idea. Awesome! Mind definitely blown..

The Harry Potter tie-in was one of the reasons I was so thrilled to see Alice in Wonderland.

By the way...Christopher Lee (Saruman/LotR) is the voice of the Jabberwocky. ;)

That's Stephen Fry who voiced the Cheshire Cat. He also recorded the audio books (that's why he's presented in the image with the book).
