Wow, what a surprise Twilight won everything on MTV. Are these awards a joke or what. Except Congrats Tom- Draco Rocks!

Considering that the MTV Movie Awards are traditionally voted on by fans, it's not a surprise that Twilight pretty much swept. Their fans are probably the most rabid ever known to humanity. I consider our fandom to be pretty tame and classy compared to there's. Be proud to be a Harry Potter fan. And always remember, we get Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, Twilight doesn't.

Im not surprised.Award shows are a joke,I just dont understand how people can be so obsessed with stuff like twilight.Its not very good quality,considering actors,dialogue,plot,lighting,facial expressions,etc..Also the fact that the movies are made only a handful of months apart,so how much time is really spent trying to make a good movie,really?The sad thing is,its making them believe that they are good.
In the long run,Harry Potter will always be iconic,memorable,tearjerking,and utterly moving.Twilight on the other hand is a fad that is long over due for deflation.Hopefully it wont be too long before its forgotten

Didn't expect anything less.Any MTV awards show is just a big popularity contest,based on what will please the fans more than what is actually deserved.Stopped watching years ago.

Considered watching this year,but that host,Aziz something or another....*shudder*...noooo,thank you.They can't get a decent,non-irritating host anymore?Nobody important signed up I guess.

After watching the Deathly Hallows clip tonight I just KNOW it has to win. It looks awesome, Eclipse can't win.

I love Mtv and I don't hate or love twilight but MTV is so biased, I mean does not mean a movie is famous they deserve to be nominated, like in one category 3 twilight actors are nominated...If that's the case there's no need for an awards show, if they are that that biased.. Other movies are more deserving

People pay attention to the MTV awards? They're a joke. The sort of people that vote in those awards are the sort of idiots that would like Twilight anyway.

I just can't believe that people think Kristen Stewart deserved to win best female performance. Hate to break it to them, but she wasn't good at all.

harry potter 6 got defeated by new moon. I was so upset. a lot of people has said that new moon is a ruined movie. but I don't really care, because next year harry potter and the deathly hallows will defeat eclipse! yes it must

I wasn't suprised at all that Eclipse and company were going to win, but like the above answers stated, HP has won way better awards like Oscars and golden globes. Those awards are more of an achievement. Because the Potter movies are much more moving and thought out, not a terrible fad. I'm proud to be a Potter fan and I'm proud to be apart of something that will be remembered for years to come and to share with generations to come.

I dont understand how that many people voted for twilight just cause most girls are obssesed with it.

and this year after the stupid eclipse movie comes out, that movie sure wont win the second time on 2011's mtv movie awards.
