Harry Potter Question

David Yates?

Everywhere I read about how much people hate David Yates, but I was wondering, does anyone like him? I personally like him, and I really enjoyed Order of the Phoenix. Anyone else like him?

I enjoyed OotP, too, although thus far it is in my bottom three as far as HP movies go. On the other hand, HBP is my second favorite HP movie and thought he did a great job with it. I'm really looking forward to both DH movies.

He better not! In HBP he had Sanguini in it but they cut him out :(

Luna's commentating would have required another Quidditch match scene, and there's never been more than one match per movie.

I don't like that he cut out so much, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to put in every single thing into the movies. When it comes to the actual scenes that he decided to use, I actually found them very well done, and I absolutely LOVED the cave scene in HBP! :) I would absolutely love his directing if he would cut out less, but I like his directing style.
