The Twilight Saga harry potter is sooo pfft loll:)

Twilight is okay. Its not the best. I think HP is better because JK Rowling really created this world, this beautiful fantasy world with plots that were so well sewn together. It was full of brilliance. Total brilliance. Many people found it boring because they didn't bother to actually try to comprehend it. Most people like the love story type thing blah blah blah. Frankly I find the storyline for twilight, kind of, weak... But see, HP wasn't just a series like Twilight. It was more. It had everything. If you really took the time to actually understand the books and re read them, you'd appreciate them just as much as most of you love twilight. And no offense but twilight isn't as great as it looks. I thought when I was first going to read it that, oh, this looks like a really good book series, yet, since i read hp before twilight, i felt a little disappointed. It wasn't the OMG i was expecting. Its a good book-decent enough but, don't get me wrong but i think some people are a little melodramatic when it comes to just how good this book is.

Twilight is way better than Harry Potter. Don't get me wrong, I still like Harry, but Twilight has a better plot. Now come on, 7 books dedicated to one villian (Voldemort), or 4 books dedicated to 4 villians.(James, Laurent, Victoria and Volturi.)

i don't like what happens in hp.(harry and ginny) i prefer harry and Hermione...
there are other reasons why i think twilight is better but it would take forever to wright them...
i don't like Jacob and renesmee but..

miqahelahcullen, so in another words you don't understand it because there isn't one bit in HP that's boring. (well i guess Myer is smart, write something THAT simple and lame so young KIDS can understand them and then go all crazy about it)
just because HP doesn't have wizards that SPARKLE and have muggles who's attracted to PALE, STALKING STICKMEM, doesn't mean it's bad.

I love Harry Potter and all of the books! BUt in Twilight I particularly like New Moon, Eclipse and Jacob part in BD! But in each book it's like when you finish reading, you just wanna read it all over again!

Twilight has no plot. The series is absolutely terrible. And yes, the MAIN plot of HP is to destroy Lord Voldemort. But there are INNUMERABLE subplots enacted throughout the series.

And retards, it's honestly not that hard to understand. I read the 1st one when I was about 11, and I understood most of it fine. And as I got older, I understood more and more that I had missed before when I was little, and that made me appreciate it all the more. I'll turn one of your excuses against you, Twilight fans: don't judge the series if you haven't even read the books. (This pick is about the BOOKS, after all.) And while the movies may depict the books, they are not the same. So stop complaining that it's long and read it! If little kids can, then so can you!

Oh, and I have read the entire series of Twilight and seen the movies. :) So I knew precisely what I was talking about before I opened my mouth♥

I have read SS about 4 times, I'm reading it again and though I know just about everything in the book I'm still drawn in. I'm also reading Twilight for the first time and want to pull my hair out I have to make myself read the crud. It's just too boring to be 79 pages into the book

To add to what LadyLilth said the books are long but the Twlight books start out as long as the 3rd HP book. The HP books grow with time, so stop complaining folks. both series are long. Besides if you love the series wouldn't you WANT more of it.

If you don't know what one's like, you can't make a comparison. Besides, if you thought Harry Potter was too 'hard' to read what does this say. One of the arguments for Twilight was that Harry Potter was just a kids' book. Also, I read the first four books (the last three hadn't been released at that point) when I was six and I understood them. Think of a better argument.

Bad poetry but I mean, are you serious? 4 villians? Did you read the books at all? Sure there were 4 but they were there to make the book 3/4 chapters longer. Not because they were interesting.

Voldemort has a story to him. Why is he evil? What will happen next? Will he kill Harry? Will Harry destroy him? Each book is a mystery waiting to be unfolded. Singly he is so strong and powerful that everyone in the wizarding world fears him. They cannot even utter his name.

Twilight i have been trying to read hp again its ok

People who say Twilight has "a better plot with more villains." and HP is dedicated to "just one villain."... doesn't that just mean that Twilight is a bunch of notes on tissues stuffed up a nose and sneezed out? Whereas Harry Potter is planned, if, in the first one, Harry miraculously got rid of Voldemort completely, then it went onto Bellatrix, or Lucius, then it just wouldn't be as complex and details.. There are more minor villains, but Voldemort is the main one, and that's not actually such a bad thing? "Tom Marvolo Riddle." "I am Lord Voldemort." it's actually an anagram. Proof that J.K wrote down well thought-out ideas, then took the ones that sounded best, knotted an intricate spider web that would get more complex in every book, but then in the sixth and seventh one, it unravels. SMeyer simply did a loose bow, which when you pull one string, falls apart. Too flawed, too simple, and, in my opinion, from some of the things she writes, she is just not right in the head. Edward rips her F*CKING UTERUS TO GET THE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE OUT OF HER STOMACH! I am sorry but WHAT?!

Then Harry Potter, you feel like you know the characters so well, that even though they're not real, we still cry when they die. I had tears in my eyes when HEDWIG died. She's an owl! But she's been a part of my childhood, my past, and Harry's past. J.K isn't afraid to get rid of her characters, whereas, (even though I'm warming to SMeyer slightly for admitting that J.K is actually very good) SMeyer can't bear (bare, really not sure which one) to get rid of her teenage horny self and her imaginary sex-toy.

Harry Potter is an original series about wizards and witches.
Twilight can't really compete or compare to the Harry Potter series based upon the genres given for each of them. For examples- Harry Potter's adventure, mystery, horror, comedy, coming-of-age, philosophical, and every conceivable description of LOVE for ALL AGES verses Twilight series love, horror, and comedy for the TEENS UP TO MIDDLE-AGED. The Twilight series is okay, but not a classic for all time like the Harry Potter series. I find the differences of these two books being compared quite laughable in my opinion.

If Twilight is a love story and Harry Potter is a 'children's book', as so claimed by some twi-hards, then why isn't the series compared to OTHER LOVE STORIES/NOVELS other than this so-called CHILDREN'S BOOK? Hmm?? I personally find that to be pitiful and wouldn't doubt for a second that it would embarrass twilight fans altogether if Harry Potter is actually perceived by all fans of literature as a 'children s' book'. The fan base of Harry Potter is significantly broader than Twilight's. So in conclusion, it's official-Harry Potter is a classic. Twilight is just another forbidden love story with supernatural creatures.

I apologize for the length of my rant, but the people who appreciates good literature would agree with at least, one of my points.

The Harry Potter series have 7 (svenen) books and The Twilght saga has 4 (four) books! I love Harry Potter books and movies!

I know this is an opinion but I really truly can not understand how people can think twilight is better than HP. I just cant. HP is amazing! And IT IS NOT A CHILD'S BOOK!!! I really dont like it when people say that. Maybe the first 2 or 3 but after that they are nothing like children's books. Anyways, HP FTW!!!

I don't like the Twilight books (I don't mind the films) but I LOVE the HP books and films :)
