Like a lot of other Antis, I was at first a Twilight fan.

I got into reading when I was 8 years old. First real book I have read was Harry Potter. Since than, I have read loads of fiction - romance, science fiction, fantasy, historical novels...
I liked some of them and disleked others. With years, I learnd to tell why and found my favorites - fantasy novels.

My friend heard of upcoming Twilight movie, so she decided to read it. She recomended the book to me, so I said: "Heck, why not, it sounds interesing." I borrowed it from school library and read it. I admit, I thought it was great, and I...

I'll admit, I have a pretty diverse bookshelf. I have the Harry Potter Complete Series box set next to my Twilight books. People who burn/flame either book are either A. extraordinarily biased or B. have a legitimate reason and may actually have something intelligent to say. To find out what people thought, I decided to ask people who surrounded me at school what their opinions were. If you're interested, read on...

I took a survey of my fellow female students to see what they thought at my middle school (what possessed me to do so, I cannot say), and many of the answers I heard were something...

SNAPES POV

"Severus, your not eating again...you know thats bad for you" Dumbledore said lifting his goblet. I sighed. Duh i know it is...that is why i was not eating. As people may know, my look matches my attitude...black, unemotional, and more black. I nodded to the old man and looked away. Glancing to the one table, where the famous trio ate, i spotted the girl of the bunch lay her head down at the table. Not one bite was taken of her meal, and she held her stomach with a free hand. Potter patted her back and said some things to her, while the Weasly boy chewed on his chicken like it was...

I’ve read many lists pointing out Twilight “Plot Holes”, but more often than not, the lists aren’t very valid at all. Half of them are usually just complaints, pointing out something they don’t like about Twilight (Example:” Why would vampires go to high school?”, or “Why does Bella have so many friends?”). The rest are just factually incorrect, or can be logically theorized. These are usually followed by “Stephenie Meyer obviously ditched history class”, or “Hasn’t Stephenie ever heard of logic?”, or my personal favorite, “I would know, I had a lesson about it...

Harry Potter is the End of an Era. Twilight is the End of an Error.

At first glance, you would think this is just another oh-so-clever Anti-Twilight slogan, reiterated by the Twilight hating masses, but in reality, are these antis only slamming themselves?

First off, what Era is Harry Potter ending? It’s own? So in other words, “Harry Potter is the end of Harry Potter”.

I’m assuming this “Error” is meant to represent Twilight, correct? So in other words, much like the above, “Twilight is the end of Twilight”.

In conclusion, “Harry Potter is the End of Harry Potter. Twilight...

Legitimate Reasons (I hope :x)
Harry Potter
1. The plot is intricate and detailed, covering easily more than forty-three years (from the time Voldemort rose to power, to the epilogue in DH) and seven books with hardly any questions left unturned. The subplots, which may seem mild and unimportant in book one, actually end up being important later on (case #1: Harry learning to fly becomes important later in book one).

2. The characters are deep and complex – there's a lot more to them than meets the eye and JK makes sure that we know it (case #2: Severus being an ass to Harry). She had every...
