I felt much frustration as what was once a very entertaining activity was reduced to pointlessness. This makes an already depressed person like me more depressed. Yes, even on such a serious site as Wikipedia, wikipedians are allowed their daily share of fun, whether it is in laughing at a vandal or musing at the department. Why? Because, very high stress levels daily is quite a problem for most people, including myself. Which is what recently happened at this spot with the youknowit101 affaire. Now, I quote: "Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and a community. At times people suffer from high stress levels, and the most important thing to remember is to have fun."
Similarly, this spot is a serious debating spot, and also a community. The fans on here are not mindless robots with one and one purpose only, they're human beings, with quirks, habits and most importantly, feelings.
They come here to have fun, to enjoy a few minutes of lulz before battling real life. Take this away and what do you have? A bunch of angsty teenagers in some more mature fans eyes? Yes.
Whether or not you dislike these bunch of angsty immature teenagers, they have chosen by their free will to make this spot their fun place of the day. Who are you then to remove it?
