1. It has better writing.
2. It's plotline is better.
3. I'd rather read a book about a teenage boy going to a wizardry school and fighting a dark sorceror than one about a ditzy girl who's way too obsessed with her sparkly boyfriend.
4. The characters are more relateable.
5. J.K. Rowling is not afraid to kill off plenty of good guys.
6. Most of the characters' educations actually matter to them.
7. It doesn't have thousands of rabid fangirls.
8. The characters are more three-dimensional.
9. It stays true to mythology.
10. It has more types of love in it, not just romantic and sexual love (or should I say teen lust).
11. Characters don't become zombies because their boyfriends and girlfriends left them.
12. Characters don't do risky stuff so they can hear their ex-lover's voice like some schizophrenic person.
13. The main character isn't a weak, mopey sap that can't live without his/her lover.
14. It doesn't portray blondes as b*tches.
15. It doesn't portray independent women as b*tches.
16. It doesn't glamourize adult-child relationships.
17. Twilight's a fad, Harry Potter's a legacy.
18. Even Stephen King (who's the king of horror literature) said that it's better.
19. Its jokes are funnier.
20. All of HP's movies got fresh reviews on Rotten Tomatoes while all the Twilight's movies got rotten reviews.
21. The males don't dominate the females.
22. The characters can live without a partner.
23. The guys aren't liked just because they're "hot".
24. Albus Severus Potter is a much better name than Renesmee Carlie Cullen.
25. The characters' names aren't cheesy.
26. Most of the quotes and lines aren't cheesy.
27. The movie cast is better.
28. HP got Academy Awards and Choice Awards, while Twilight only got Choice Awards.
29. The characters don't become married and pregnant before they go to college and are still teenagers.
30. Its villains are better.
31. The plot doesn't contradict science, history, and/or itself.
32. It has smaller plotholes.
33. It doesn't promote forced love.
34. The main guy doesn't stalk his girlfriend and watch her sleep.
35. In HP, the falling in love process is more realistic.
36. The characters have flaws.
37. It doesn't teach people that they don't have to go to college.
38. Its author is more likable.
39. The characters actually move on when a loved one dies or leaves, they don't jump off cliffs.
40. The main characters are more memorable.
41. It sold more copies.
42. The main guy's girlfriend doesn't keep on trying to sex with him.
43. The main guy dumped his girlfriend for a better reason.
44. The main guy doesn't treat his girlfriend like a tiny, helpless baby.
45. It appeals to more than just tween/teenage girls.
