Let's set the scene before this begins shall we? A girl, we'll call her Ven, is walking home from school and gets a call from her friend. Ven and said friend have not spoken in a while so they start to ask what the other has been up to. They eventually get into the subject of books they've read. And that's where this little story starts.

So Ven's friend asks her what her favortie book is. "Oh, that's an easy one." she replies. "Harry Potter of course." her friend laughs and says, "Of course. Well, my favorite book series is Twilight."

Ven, having never even heard of the books, makes a confused face and presses her friend for more information. "Twilight? Interesting name for a book. What's it about?"

"It's about vampires and werewolves and stuff. Basically fantasy more or less. Main character, Bella, is in love with a--"

"Oh heck no." Ven replies, cutting off her friend before she can finish speaking. "I don't do love stories, you know that." her friend sighs and says, "I know, but give it a chance! It's really good, even better than Harry Potter."

Of course, Ven thinks this is total bullshit to the max, but doesn't like to make an opinion about a book without reading it, so her friend lets her borrow the series to read.

And Ven loved the books. Mind you, she didn't turn into a fan that thought Eddy and Jake were real, but she did think it was better than Harry Potter.

Of course, Ven didn't have many friends at school to talk to the books about, so she settled for talking to fans online. This is when she noticed a lot of people bashed the books.

"Oh come on, have you even read the series?" Ven asks, outraged someone is bashing her current favorite series. "Oh, yes, I've read them and they're total crap! How can you even think it's better than Harry Potter? You get on Google right now and look for "A 1000 reasons why Harry Potter is better than Twilight" and then we'll talk."

So Ven indeed does this, and clicks the link that leads to a forum titled this on a little site called fanpop.

Ven reads through all the pages(there were only 60 by the time she finished and caught up) and she realized they all had a point. How could she have been so stupid? Twilight was a load of bullshit. Harry Potter was by far its superior.

So Ven begins to post reasons on this forum as well. The other anti's welcomed her with open arms and treated her like family. She met some awesome people on fanpop and even added a few on facebook.

Of course, they talked about other thing as well. Like other books they liked, music, movies, tv shows, actors, hobbies, the works.

There's a lesson to be learned from this kiddies. It's that Twilight sucks balls. Thank you and goodnight. :3

Wikipedia says:

Quote: In literature, a plot is all the events in a story particularly rendered towards the achievement of some particular artistic or emotional effect. In other words, it's what mostly happened in the story or novel or what the story's general theme is based on, such as the mood, characters, setting, and conflicts occurring in a story.

The concept of plot and the associated concept...

Here's a list of reasons that don't count out of the first 500.
Reasons that are purely opinion, untrue, or just ridiculous.
I didn't include all the reasons I think are wrong, to be nice

12. Twilight WILL fad out it is a fad and many fans are on it because of the Bandwagon effect and because Robert Patterson is good looking But Harry Potter will be around forever
17. Harry Potter can be read by any age group. Twilight is geared more towards angst 15 year olds.
18. The characters in Harry Potter GROW, they grow with you as you read. The first books start out fairly tame but mature as you mature....

The plain text is a copy/past of link.
The bold text is my own add ins to relate the situations to Bella and Edward

Love is a tricky emotion. There are some things that feel like love but they are much too superficial to be the real thing. Real love takes time and doesn't happen overnight. Here are three things that people often confuse for love.

I don’t personally believe that love can really be defined by anyone, but oh well. People like to try new things.

Lust A.k.a, Twilight

Lust is the feeling that is often mistaken for love at first sight. Lust is an intense and sudden attraction to somebody...

I knw that many of you hv read the books and watched the Harry Potter series. At first, I liked it very much, but later on, it got really boring to the point I had to force myself to watch tthe movies and read the books. I know that I don't "have" to force myself to do anything, but there was no other way to spend my holidays. One of my friends, who is a Potter fan recommended this series to me and gave me all the movies and books. I finished reading all the movies and also finished reading all the books. At the end, I was really disappointed.
I hate Harry Potter. Now, don't go saying that I...
