Hello fanpoppers, I thought it’d be fun to compose an interview with 2 people. One, a Twilight fan, and the other, a Twilight “hater”. My first interview is with a Twilight fan, her name is Annie or as some may know her, QOTBB!

Introduce your self Annie!

Hello everyone, my name is Annie, I’m 26 years-old. My favorite book series is Twilight, my favorite show is Supernatural, I have a great husband, a great 3 year-old daughter, and I have 3 cats.

Ok, so why are you a fan of Twilight Annie?

I’ve always been really big into Vampire lore. When I picked up Twilight at first, I was skeptical about it. I didn’t know if I was really going to like it. And it surprised me that I did. Then I heard about the movies and it was like the icing on the cake, I was like “finally, I’ll get to see a vampire sparkle in the sunlight.” I was also afraid that it would not live up to my expectations. I was teased for liking it, and I was made fun of. I’ve been reduced to tears because people can be mean, very mean. But, I’m dedicated to my Vampires!

Does it make you mad when you hear negative stories about Twilight?

Sometimes, but other times I’ll just leave it alone. It’s only when I’m really bothered by what someone says, that’s when my claws come out lol.

What is you least favorite part of Twilight?

Jacob Black, he’s kind of annoying to me. I Like Edward, but I’m not into the whole “oh, bite me Edward” I’m more so into the story of Twilight. I have a husband who would probably get jealous if Edward showed up and bit me XD.

Your favorite part of Twilight?

Well… the Vampire lore. I adore it. And the romantic aspect of it. I disagree with people who say that it’s fake romance, duh, yeah it’s fake, that’s what makes it the perfect romance!

And final question, why do you think some people don’t like it?

I wish I knew. I mean people are entitled to their own opinions and all. But why do they have to be so mean about it? I’ve met a lot of mean people. And sometimes all you want to do is scream.
This article was NOT written by me. I found this somewhere else as a comment and thought it was great and that it should be shared. Don't give any credit to me. I just copy pasted.

First of all- Harry Potter isn’t just a childish bedtime story. Nor is it shallow. A story based off a single dream has no depth. Twilight fans will never what kind of man James was before he turned vampire. Rowling, however, spent 15 years planning every little detail. She created a world within our own for her witches and wizards. She has based their heritage off of real mythology and history. Their spells are...

I'll tell you my story. I love Harry Potter. For all the right reasons. So one day my friend loans me his Twilight DVD and the horror began.

I didn't like the movie. I thought the actors were too forced and forgot to take acting lessons but it was a laugh. I then realized that this horror was a series of books. My bookworm friend had all the books and I borrowed it from her for a bit of light reading(*grin*).

All would have been fine and I wouldn't have existed on this site had it not been for the words she showed me on the back of the book that said 'Move over Harry Potter'. I lost my remaining...

I've been seeing this question a lot lately. Twilight fans don't know what is wrong with Bella. I have written this article in order to try to explain exactly what is wrong with Bella. There are actually many things wrong with her, as I will be explaining in this article.

The first thing I will acknowledge is the mental instability of Bella Swan. In New Moon, Edward dumps her, and she becomes depressed. Now, I understand that it is very disheartening to have your boyfriend dump you. I would be able to understand if she had been depressed for, maybe two weeks? No more than a month. But Bella...

Ok, well I’m getting pretty tired of people saying that Bella and Edward’s relationship is love. It’s not. It’s just lust. Let’s look at the clues:
-She sees him and thinks he’s gorgeous.
-He likes her smell.
-He’s a vampire.
Now, before I start writing about these points, I would like to compare the relationship to that of Snape and Lily. Yes, they have never gone out but they didn’t need to. Snape met Lily when they were little. He probably thought she was pretty and developed a crush on her which bloomed into love. When Snape found...

Realised the points have little to do with plot, thus changed the title to errors.

My apologise to Twilight fans if I'm a little too harsh, but I have reread the books like twice this month and it was a little exasperating. Not to worry, I'm currently rereading Harry Potter, so a plothole list on it will be added soon =)

Ok, let's get started:

1.A hundred years of...nothingness?
Explanation: I don't expect science fiction books to be scientifically accurate. But if you plan your main character to live 100 years studying in prep forever at the age of 17, make the whole book plausible. No, just saying...

First, let me get this straight: I'm not a fan of Twilight. In fact, I hate it. But I can see why everyone's so hyped up about it.

You see, I've recently been introduced to a new theory- The Twelve-Year-Old girl theory. It's mostly used in music, like for popular icons like Hannah Montana, Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, but Twilight also fits into this catagory.

What is the Twelve-Year-Old girl theory, you might ask? Well, let's just look at people at the age of twelve first. When you turn twelve, you're on the thin line between childhood and the teen years. You're young and vulnerable,...

Okay, my friend and I go to a school that has a thing called 'Lit Circles'. There's a list of books, and Twilight is on there, but not Harry Potter. My friend thought this was totally wrong, and wrote a super long persuasive essay to our English teacher about it. This was all hers, and I can't take credit for how awesome it is :)

Why Twilight Should Be Replaced by Harry Potter in Lit Circles

Two books sit on the shelf in front of you; on the cover of the first, you see two pale hands holding a deep red apple. The second features a young boy on a broomstick, in midair as...

I did not write this.
1. If a boy is aloof, stand-offish, ignores you or is just plain rude, it is because he is secretly in love with you — and you are the point of his existence.
2.Secrets are good — especially life-threatening ones.
3. It’s OK for a potential romantic interest to be dimwitted, violent and vengeful — as long as he has great abs.
4. If a boy tells you to stay away from him because he is dangerous and may even kill you, he must be the love of your life. You should stay with him since he will keep you safe forever.
5. If a boy leaves you, especially suddenly (while telling...

Dear Stephenie Meyer,

May I first tell you that your 'Saga' is complete and utter crap. I also would like to highlight the fact that your 'books' are an insult to literature and vampires.
When reading them at first, I thought that they were quite good, and for a while I was a Twilight fan, but your fanbase has gotten huge, along with your head. This is one of the reasons I don't like Twilight. I've read other points on why Twilight and the rest of the 'saga' are bad, and I fully agree with the points raised. The points that I have read about have made me realise how bad Twilight and the rest...

Okay sorry Twilikers. But you need to here the facts. Harry Potter is the best selling serous ever. Deathly Hallows is the fasting selling book ever.

Okay. So why is it when I type in "100 resons Twilight is better then Harry Potter" there is one vpage and for a start there aren't even a hundred resons. Most of them all same the same thing. Twiilight's better because everyone's hot. They are??. Good readers tend not to notice.

It's a love story. So is Harry Potter but it's not full in your face. It comes in gentle as the charcters get older, as the books move on. And have you seen all the different...
