Rowling:Hello.
Meyer:Hi.
M:Are you ready for the interview?
R:Yeah,Stephanie.
Stephanie:Yes.
M:Ok,since you both write fiction-how did you come up with the books?
S.M.:It was a dream,the meadow scene and I woke up and I'm like,"How did they get their?How did they fall in love?WHat would happen,next?"I jumped out of bed and sat down and started writing.Going,"I can't forget this!"
R:I was telling my kids a story one night.Thinking,"What if I wrote this down?""What if they had missions and battles."And soon my kids were reading the books because they were on sale!
M:That's really cool.You have awesome ideas.I'm personally a fan of both of you.
S.M.:Thank you.
R:Yes,thanks.
M:Okay so,how did you come up with,Bella,Edward,Jacob,Hermonie,Harry,and all the others?
R:My kids actually named them!I thought they were cool enough to right down for teens and adults.My kids were so happy whenever I told them I used their names!
M:Really?
R:Yeah.
M:Okay,your turn Stephanie.
S.M.:Bella and Edward fit together real well so I paired them.ANd I looked up Native American names on Google and got some good ones-the finalists were Samuel,Dustin and Jacob.Then I got my kids to decide which one.They picked Samuel and Jacob.Then I went onto my facebook account and had a poll their-they picked Jacob.I decided Samuel-now Sam-would be the pack leader!
M:Those are very interesting.Really.I am truley absorbed in this conversation!
*their are laughs from Meyer and Rowling*
M:Okay,now.Did you enjoy the movies?
S.M.:Ummm.I was really nervous about the first one.And in the behind the scenes you can see and hear me say "This is my baby!"After the finished product was made I was impressed by the amazing actors and actresses and got really close to-umm-Kristen and Rob and Taylor.I am in close contact with them
M:That's really nice.I'm sure it would be scary at first.J.K.?
R:I was excited!I wasn't really nervous because I've been on a movie set and actually having the actors around me asking for signed books was fun!Emma was probably more nervous than me.I mean she was leaning on me like 24/7!My kids are great friends with her now and so am I.I actually loved being on set!

Me: “Yes, they’re right over there.”
