It all started when i was little. My father invited me to watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I declined for the reason that I do not like these kinds of stories before.

Many years have passed...

My best friend, who is a Harry Potter fanatic convinced me to watch the series which I was to choose between Harry Potter parts I, II and III. I chose the third one because of the cool CD illustration.

I did became a fanatic.

Today, I have watched all released movies and read all books including the book Quidditch Through the Ages.

Last year when I was first year in high school (school levels are different here in the Philippines), I'm already 12 and not innocent to things mature. I was in the school bus in an afternoon and saw my bus-mate reading a book entitled "Tw*ilight". I said, "Twilight?" He said, "Yes, it will be in the movies soon." Well, that friend of mine, a school year older than me became someone who would read Tw*light instead of harry Potter, if you know what I mean.

Then my two cousins (both are female) became enthusiasts of Tw*light. I do not want to know why. We rant against each other when we have ussual Harry Potter vs Tw*light and my cousins tell that statistics do lie when I say that Rotten Tomatoes.com reviews are crap stating that Harry Potter movies gained higher percentage from critics and the website name was "rotten tomatoes".

I do not really see the Tw*light series as "threat" to many people but it did for some unknown reasons...

Obsessed Twilight fans are very um... in to the universe of Tw*light as if they will find an Edw*ard Culleen in this world and oh yeah, he's wierd. I know both main characters, Edw*rd and Harry are fit and good looking (if you ask some people) but the Tw*light series tells people that if you're hot, you boast to find a "perfect" girlfriend.

Obsessed Harry Potter fans like me, do learn from the values learn like parental love and selflessness and we try to apply them into our lives, unlike those people who are still searching for the Edw*rd in this world.

I really do not know where this fight will subdue when either Tw*light will fall (which is likely) or Harry Potter will fall (of course, very unlikely) or even if Stephenie May*r and J.K. Rowling will be friends and put an end to this ranting, fighting, debating, etcetera-ing.

I do admit that I hate Tw*light, its author and everything else in between. As a Facebook-er, Is say Tw*light as "EPIC FAIL"~! So it is probably ok to be thrown stones at by Tw*Hards who do leave a scar in my conscience because I'm very much annoyed. At least try to be humble, TwiHards and if you're a Christian, spend your time with God, not making the series and its author as Demigod.

Both series had flaws but even "when most people do bad things and only a few do good, good will stay as good and no other thing can change the fact and reality in the world."

Okay. I'm going TRY to be thorough, and express my reasons in a clear way. If there's something you think is wrong or incorrect, feel free to debate that point.

PART I:PLOT

The plot of the book is like the structure of a building-without it, the book is moot. Both HP and T have simple plots (Girl falls in love with a vampire, boy discovers he's a wizard).

However, HP (In my opinion) is unpredictable, whereas Twilight is very predictable.
In fact, (I swear this is true) I had a person who'd never read the Twilight books before, watched the movies, and had barely known the series existed, read book...

Why do you like Harry Potter/Twilight?
I'm sorry, but I want to read something positive. Please, no fighting and number these. So, I'll go first.
-----
I like Harry Potter.

1. Hermione shows that girls can be smart and it's great if they are. None of the girls need a boy to survive. They can defend themselves. Harry and Ron do depend on Hermione for schoolwork. Ginny is accomplished at the Bat-Bogey Hex.
2. Harry is willing to sacrifice himself if it means his friends will survive.
3. Harry's is brave, but he still has emotion. When he goes into the forest in Ch. 34 (DH), he's scared, but he...
