First off, one of my best friends refuses to read Harry Potter because it's a fantasy. You probably said the exact same thing. I did too.

Just to clear this up, I'm going to explain this for you. All 7 books more or less have the same goal in mind. Harry's parents were murdered by Voldemort in Godric's Hollow when Harry was 1. Until the age of 11, he believed it was only a car crash. He had no idea that he was famous for the supposed "death" of Voldemort. That is, until Hagrid comes to tell him that he is indeed a wizard.

In his first year, the main plot, more or less, is about Harry trying to stop Voldemort from returning. He can't kill him, because he has no body, but he tries to stop him from getting his body back, because he, like Dumbledore, want to hold off his rebirth. This is the person who murdered is parents . Sure, you can't relate to this (I hope) because your parents are still alive and kicking. But if you were in his shoes, you would want the same thing. It's because he loves that he wants this, something that we all feel, something that we can all relate too.

In his 3rd year, he learns that his godfather and supposedly the man who betrayed his parents is on the loose, and trying to kill him. In the end of the book, he learns that, his father's friend, who faked his own death to avoid justice, was the true person of betrayal, and even though he gave the Potter's to Voldemort, Harry kept him alive only because his father wouldn't want that, and he wanted to stay true to him.

In his fourth year, he witnesses Voldemort's rebirth. He sees his parents coming out of his wand, and because of this, he keeps himself alive and keeps his grip on his wand, determined not to let his parents' murderer get him.

In his fifth year, he suffers more. No one believes him when he says Voldemort has come back, but he keeps his word. His godfather dies, but he stays alive and won't let Voldemort get his final weapon.

In his sixth year, he tries to figure out what his enemy is trying to do, and has feeling just the same when Dumbledore is killed.

In the seventh book, he gets rid of the things keeping Voldemort alives, sticking to his goal. In the end, he sacrifices himself to keep others alive, and comes back instead of giving up, and finally accomplishes his goal.

So what these books are about, is the will to stay alive, and using your last weapon, love, to keep to the goal you'll accomplish or die trying.

NOTE: About that story from the 11 year old who wrote that story clarifying reasons about Twilight being better, I'm 10. Hope you like this :D

I’ve read many lists pointing out Twilight “Plot Holes”, but more often than not, the lists aren’t very valid at all. Half of them are usually just complaints, pointing out something they don’t like about Twilight (Example:” Why would vampires go to high school?”, or “Why does Bella have so many friends?”). The rest are just factually incorrect, or can be logically theorized. These are usually followed by “Stephenie Meyer obviously ditched history class”, or “Hasn’t Stephenie ever heard of logic?”, or my personal favorite, “I would know, I had a lesson about it...

Harry Potter is the End of an Era. Twilight is the End of an Error.

At first glance, you would think this is just another oh-so-clever Anti-Twilight slogan, reiterated by the Twilight hating masses, but in reality, are these antis only slamming themselves?

First off, what Era is Harry Potter ending? It’s own? So in other words, “Harry Potter is the end of Harry Potter”.

I’m assuming this “Error” is meant to represent Twilight, correct? So in other words, much like the above, “Twilight is the end of Twilight”.

In conclusion, “Harry Potter is the End of Harry Potter. Twilight...

As you can tell, I do not like Twilight. However, there is one character in the "saga" that I definatley agree with. That person happens to be... Rosalie.

Sure Rosalie is a Bitch most of the time, but when you watch her in "Eclipse" [my sister made me watch all the movies] you actually discover why she acts like that, especially towards Bella, and to be honest, I can't really blame her. In fact, I actually felt bad for her, and heres why:

In "Eclipse" Rosalie explains to Bella about what it's like to be a vampire, and the consequences. Rosalie was once a human in the 1930's era who had so many...

So we all know who Bella is, complete muggle and interfering with the magical world. The Department of International Magical Cooperation and the Department of Magic Reversal are overlooking claims, as shown on that post on My Life Is Twilight. I know this has been covered a lot, but I'm going to go in a bit further on what makes Muggles like her so much.

In several articles, Bella was described as an empty shell, meaning any girl can relate to her. This fits, because we know that she's only described as clumsy. Well, so are hundreds of millions of people in the world...so they could fit into...

I like Twilight. I used to love Twilight. But then, I began to feel disappointed. I wanted Bella to have DONE something that actually could affect the entire WORLD. Suddenly, I created my own versions of Edward and Bella and the Volturi. I like Twilight as it is....but it would be much better like this.
-1-
Bella Swan tugged on her muddy brown ponytail to keep in in place as thundered roared and rain came down in buckets on the deserted island. The forest, slick with slime and muck, was dangerous enough without HIM lurking in the shadows. Her ears picked up a soft sound beneath the gale. He...
