Harry Potter Vs. Twilight Question

Who do you think would win in a battle? Wizards and witches or vampires/werewolves?

I think wizards and witches because they can cast spells to make vampires run slower and freeze them and all that cool awesome stuff.

Vampires/Wolves

-They're fast enough to dodge any spell a wizard will cast toward them.
-Many have various powers that would give them an intellectual or physical advantage.
-The wolves will have a shared mind, giving them the ability to strategize, and restrategize instantly at the speed of thought.

Wizards would have to take several seperate steps to defeat a vampire, while all a wolf or a vampire would have to do is step of the wizard, or kick them or something.

And to back up:
^Exactly what bri-marie said.

Though it would be very a very close call. Actually it's very even.

Wizards & Witches.
For all the reasons Brimarie stated.
We are also forgetting that, mostly, the spells we have knowledge of are only the ones that are taught in Hogwarts years 1-6. If you got someone like Dumbledore, I'm sure he could work some of his epicness and like, freeze them all where they stand without even having to aim at them. :)

Then you needn't worry about all this fudge about 'superspeed' ans stuff, lol.

Vampires/Werewolves running? Please, apparation? Appearing out of thin air before their target then BAM! Avada Kedavra. And Avada Kedavra should work, shouldn't it. It stops the heart beat AND stops brain functions. So bye bye wereworlf and vamp.

However, if you're not completely satisfied, then:
Stupefy/Pertrificus Totalus (Their frozen and can't run away)
Diffindo/Sectemsempra (sp? It's been a while, anyway that takes care if ripping them apart)
Confrigo (bursts into flames)

See, so many options. And the spells are light. Nothing's faster then the speed of light, right?

Didn't Harry and his friends dodge spells all the time?

Wasn't apparation describes as being very compressing, and your viion goes black for a short time? Wouldn't that indicate some sort of travel period? If not, right after apparating, the wizard would stand there being blind, not breathing, and feeling compressed for a short period of time. Completely vulnerable.

death eaters dont apparate, they turn into smoke and fly that way, they appear to keep all senses while doing so

seriously. Witches and Wizards would win any day.

Wizard have a wider range of capabilities. that means they'd have a wider range of special skills and would be more capable of adapting to situations they are faced w/.

No examples? Or any reasoning besides a variation of "because they can"
