Harry Potter Vs. Twilight Question

Do you think T promotes unrealistic ideas? For example that there is true love around the next corner..

This is just what I think... I used to be greatly influenced by T that true love actually exists which clouded my eyes to the realistic nature of this world getting me into great trouble.... Please feel free disagree with me...

any book where people fall in love will promote that ideal.
Do you read a lot? it looks like you think Harry Potter and Twilight are the only books capable of influencing something

Yes I actually do read a lot but so far I haven't had that feeling from a book except T.. I am sorry since this club is about T and HP I asked the question...

^ Exactly. This is a HPvsT club, are we siriusly going to post a completely different book on here that has nothing to do with the spot? Then you'd probably report her for spamming

Cassie, we understand that Twi and HP aren't the only books out there. I have read many good books, and Lord of the Rings is one my favorites. BUT if you looked at the name, it says TWILIGHT vs. HARRY POTTER. Youknowit has already accused us of spamming, so if we mention another book, he with his arrogant attitude, will report us.

Since when has Twilight been deemed a prophecy?
No, it doesn't.

Does Harry Potter promote than killing bad guys is good? Does it promote that making fun of snobby fat kids is good? does it promote that it's good to sneak out of your room and walk around, invisible? Does it promote that climbing out of your window and into your friend's car is good? or that stealing cars from your parents is good?
No..

So why would people be more easily influenced by the negative doings in Twilight?

Unless it's some indirect ruse of calling Twilight fans stupid, there's no reason to assume that Twilight will influence or promote bad behavior, immorality, or unrealistic ideals.
Not everyone is incredibly impressionable.

I do, but not what your talking about. I do believe that there is such thing as true love, and that you can find your true love at any given moment, whether you realize it or not.

I don't believe that everything works out perfectly, couples rarely fight, and that you will find someone who, in looks and personality, is flawless.

Hmm, I believe in true love, but Twilight didn't influence me that it exists or it's right around the corner thankfully
Though yes, I believe that Twilight does promote unrealistic ideas, like how lust is love and how everyone needs/should want someone and how if you're pretty and new to a school/town, boys will jump at the chance to be with you
