Harry Potter Vs. Twilight Question

Do you think this feud over which is better is really productive in any way? (No offence to fans of both books)Do you think we can ever just think of it as different qualities of imaginations of the authors?

No to both questions. Most debates aren't very productive, yet we do it anyway. We simply love to debate our side, whether we get results or not. We also won't think of each side as different author imaginations, either. A part of debate is disagreeing with each other.
I think we shouldn't matter so much about a winner, because we aren't going to get one, but instead just enjoy trying anyway.

I feel like it started as someone saying "[inserts HP or T here] is better than [insert the other one here]", and someone said "Now, that's not true..." And then it turned into the fandoms defending their stance. So, I really don't think its productive. And I think people like to argue about it. It shows what dedicated fans exist in the world!
