Hi guys, I know that I'm early for Halloween, but what you're going to read are the reasons why the 1999 remake of Shirley Jackson's classic is not worth watching. Secondly, I was inspired by Nostalgia Critic shortly after seeing review on this disgusting remake!
While a couple of scenes still remains the same like the original 1963 version, unfortunately it is actually a mockery of the original film. The first scene was partially correct, because Nell had a strained relationship with her sister after their mother's passing. But her brother-in-law...
Narrowing down the song list was very difficult; but I present my 2017 Halloween Playlist.
This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson
Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack
In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg
The Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley
Trick or Treat by Ghost Town
Wild and Untamed Thing from the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack
English Fantasy Suite IV The Witches' Dance by Red Priest
Since Halloween is coming! I will write this Disney film that I had seen 13 years ago as well as my mini comparison to the 1999 remake of the Haunting.
Like The Pirates of the Caribbean series, the film is base on the Disneyland attraction. The film reminds me of the 1999 remake of the Haunting, in terms of the story-line and the special effects. With the exception of the spookiness.
The reason why I said all these things is because, I suspect that they use the same effect team from the 1999 remake. That I will only watch the Haunted Mansion...
Hi guys, I know that Halloween is over, but I thought that I would write both versions of the 1963 and the 1999 version of the Haunting. Base on the Shirley Jackson's novel.
The 1963 Version
I saw this version on Youtube 7 years ago, and my first impression of it was amazing. There were no CGI's considering that this movie was made in the early 60's, I have always feel sorry for Nell because she was mentally unstable and has been looking after her ailing mother prior to the events of the movie.
This time I decided to include some non-horror; one comedy and two more actiony ones. Because let's face it, not everyone wants a scar on Halloween. some people just want a feel good Halloween movie.
5. The Lost Boys
I mean this is just another one that I feel is kind of a Halloween/Gothic classic. For that reason I placed it at 5 on my list. That and ya gotta have a good vampire movie for Halloween. And I'm talking about the cool vampires.
Hi everyone, although I don't celebrate Halloween as I live in Malaysia. But I had some horror movies that I would share that are considered my least and most favourite movies to share with you all, ready to get scared?
My Least Favourite Horror Movies
The Haunting (1999)
I only watched bits of it a few years ago, and at that time I did not know that it was actually a reboot of the original 1963 version. I managed to watch the latter on Youtube, and I will talk about it later.
So in spirit of Halloween I decided to make a list of my top 5 horror movies to watch on Halloween. However I am not including super popuplar ones like 'Halloween', 'Nightmare On Elm Street', 'Friday The 13th', 'The Ring', and so on.
I actually did see this one on Halloween. And it was a great decision. kept me up at night for sure lol. If you like possesed dolls and demons, this movie is for you. Supposedly based on a true story, Anabelle is a movie about posession and uncanny endings. Really great movie, 10/10.
I'm going to give you ideas for your next Halloween costumes.Next year I'll put up more!Theres zombie make up and cat make up too!Look at it closely for make up.and you can't buy the zombie costume though but you can buy the cat costume !
