What happens to Nate and Serena in the season finale of GG season 2?

Nothing happens,really.Except a couple of few cute scenes,which were really sweet.All that happens,is Nate and Serena walking with each other,talking with Chuck and Blair,talking with each other,and Nate defending Serena. <3
