From what we're to understand, the CW has 3 time slots available and 6 shows to choose from as to which they want to fill those slots. The spin-off is among the 6, and while it is standing its own in the competition, its a tough fight. 'Melrose Place' seems to be the only definite, and they're talking about picking up another season of 'Priveleged'. That leaves the CW with only one slot left to fill and the spin-off is fighting against two new shows, 'The Beautiful Life' and 'Vampire Diaries', both of which seem to be leading in the ranks.
So. The fate of the spin-off is still undecided, but keep your chin up (if you liked it, that is).
