George and Amal Clooney Celebrate Her 39th Birthday In Spain With Her Parents 

Amal Clooney, who turned 39 on Friday, was spotted this week in Spain, where she traveled with husband George and his parents.

The couple were seen grabbing dinner on Thursday at local restaurant Rooftop Smokehouse, and were joined by George’s parents, Nick and Nina.

Amal looked chic in an all-black ensemble with black heels while her husband kept things casual in jeans and a dark, short-sleeved shirt — the pair walking hand in hand as they went to the restaurant.

The group were also snapped at the airport in Barcelona, with Amal keeping her all-black look while donning leopard-print boots.

The international human-rights lawyer was in the Spanish city to speak at the ADP ReThink Human Capital Management conference, where she participated in the closing keynote discussion on Thursday that focused on the role that business can play in advancing human rights.

The discussion was moderated by her father-in-law Nick, a veteran journalist and academic.

Both George and his mother also attended the keynote, before the group headed out to dinner.
