You may or may not heard most of these details before, but 3 wireless support areas were mentioned:

Dual Tag: Team up locally with friends for co-op battles.
Each player picks 3 participants.

StreetPass features: Characters you make can be traded with others, while characters you get will support you by joining your army.

SpotPass feature: You'll get gaiden maps
