Yes. But it's partly the creator of the picks fault because they put on the option that other fanpopers can add their own choice...

Well, you could always allow people to add their own options, and then delete the 'I love them all' option if someone adds it. That way there will only be 'serious' options added by others.

It diminishes the entire pick.

I don't think leaving the allow to add option on makes it the pick maker's fault, people leave that on in case they missed any valid answers. You shouldn't have to stop people being able to add fair opinions to avoid people adding a cop out.
The idea is annoying, especially on picks where it makes no sense (like which show do you like most. Even if you like them all it's incredibly unlikely you like every option exactly equally, just pick your favourite and you can say you like the others in the comments. 'I love them all' does not answer the question 'which do you like MOST'...no you don't love them all equally, lol) but it's one of those things that only annoys me in theory and not in reality. When I think about it, yeah it makes no sense and is a pain, but if it happens I just evaluate my question to ensure it doesn't make sense (not too common, but sometimes it does fit) and if it doesn't I'd just remove it and comment explaining why :)

Totally depends on the question. Someone once added an "all of the above" option to a pick choosing a new spot icon, but that just made me laugh.

Paramore-CSI picked No not really :
you know if you are adding a pick that you want them to answer only your options then make it so others cannot add there own!

It's great to have choices but sometimes I think it's OK to have two equeal favorites!!!
Plus I'm very glad that others offer to let you add another choice!!

I find it annoying when you make a long complicated pick with many pictures and someone adds an option of all the above which wins out. It just makes the idea of making picks seem useless at times when you want to find out the most popular out of them

I just never check the box that allows other people to add their own options unless it's absolutely necessary. But it annoys me when people do it on other people's picks
