Very cool indeed, I'm assuming it's in readiness for Thanksgiving. We also don't celebrate it here in Australia but I think it's a great idea. Good on you guys!

For some reason I always thought Thanksgiving was celebrated on the 30th of November (I think this has something to do with a Bewitched Thanksgiving episode).
Now coolguy, you say it's on the 25th. I just looked up Wikipedia (admmittedly not always a trutworthy source of reference, lol) and it states that Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November - thus making it the 27th and not the 25th. Is trhis correct?
I'm not trying to be a nit-picker here, just trying to better inform myself of worldwide events and celebrations. In Australia we don't have these kind of celebrations, it's just basically Christmas and Easter and that's it, lol!

This year (2008) Thanksgiving is November 27th. It's always on a Thursday. I'll be working so I won't truly celebrate until the Saturday afterward. Same with Christmas. Sigh.

The 4th Thursday in November is when Thanksgiving is celebrated in the US, so it is on the 27th this year.

Also, I'm not sure if my mind was playing tricks with me, but I could swear that the turkey was in the upper left corner.

Yeah, it's the 27th, my bad, I was remembering last year's date, and forgot it was on every Thursday, and automatically asumed the 25th. I apologize for that mistake.

Yeah, that cute little turkey's up again. Papa said he'd return the turkey and papa is obviously a man of his word. So if you're happy that Mr Turkey is back for Thanksgiving then give a 'high five' to papa.
