How much is too much? When it comes to Fanpop, it's hard to tell. So check out this handy guide! Feel free to add on any you think of too.
You know you spend too much time on Fanpop when......
1. Your hands are permanently bent into the shape of your computer mouse.
2. You see something cool that you'd like to share and try to take a screencap of it from your eyes.
3. You spend more time with your online friends than your real friends.
4. You start thinking up potential usernames for everyone you meet.
5. Who cares about celebrities? The days of wanting to meet your favorite movie star are over! Now all you do is daydream about meeting the F4.
6. Fanpop NEEDS it's own reality show. Why the heck doesn't it have one yet?!?! I'm so writing another complaint letter to every TV studio I've ever heard of!
7. Whenever you're writing, you keep writing in HTML tags to try and bolden, underline, or italicize your writing.
8. Your last nightmare was about your Fanpop account getting banned.
9. You can't consider yourself officially a fan of something until you've gotten a Medal for that spot on Fanpop.
10. You go on a hunger strike when your parents take away your internet privileges.
11. You forget to eat because you're too busy hanging out on Fanpop.
12. If your power goes out, and you can't use the computer, you can't stop coming up with conspiracy theories as to how the power repairmen are really evilly plotting to shut down Fanpop for good and ruin your life!
13. Whenever you go to friends houses, they always lock up their computer before you arrive.
14. No one can get you off the computer unless their either physically pull the plug, or they have a major death wish.
15. Whenever you get or find something you like, you keep looking for "fan of it" or "Save to favorites" buttons.
16. You barely ever go on any other websites. Come to think of it.........what other websites even exist outside of Fanpop??

I was thinking about the answers feature, how it's so much more used than the forums. The point of the answers was to ask for help on something to do with what you're a fan of, but it's also being used to discuss things like "What's the best Simpsons Character" or "Disney should make 2D cartoons again", something like that. That's what the forums are made for, but most of these kind of questions are used in the "answer" section anyway. The real forums are hardly used now. Nearly everywhere I look, the last reply to a forum was 1 year ago.
Althought I can understand why these questions are in the answers section. The questions are easier to notice and you can vote for what the best answer is.
So I was thinking, why not just make the answers the new forums? Get rid of the old forum. That way, you can post whatever you want, there's 1 less section to worry about where to ask, the questions are more likely to be answered and there's no/less rule breaking.
