How much is too much? When it comes to Fanpop, it's hard to tell. So check out this handy guide! Feel free to add on any you think of too.

You know you spend too much time on Fanpop when......

1. Your hands are permanently bent into the shape of your computer mouse.

2. You see something cool that you'd like to share and try to take a screencap of it from your eyes.

3. You spend more time with your online friends than your real friends.

4. You start thinking up potential usernames for everyone you meet.

5. Who cares about celebrities? The days of wanting to meet your favorite movie star are over! Now all you do is daydream about meeting the F4.

6. Fanpop NEEDS it's own reality show. Why the heck doesn't it have one yet?!?! I'm so writing another complaint letter to every TV studio I've ever heard of!

7. Whenever you're writing, you keep writing in HTML tags to try and bolden, underline, or italicize your writing.

8. Your last nightmare was about your Fanpop account getting banned.

9. You can't consider yourself officially a fan of something until you've gotten a Medal for that spot on Fanpop.

10. You go on a hunger strike when your parents take away your internet privileges.

11. You forget to eat because you're too busy hanging out on Fanpop.

12. If your power goes out, and you can't use the computer, you can't stop coming up with conspiracy theories as to how the power repairmen are really evilly plotting to shut down Fanpop for good and ruin your life!

13. Whenever you go to friends houses, they always lock up their computer before you arrive.

14. No one can get you off the computer unless their either physically pull the plug, or they have a major death wish.

15. Whenever you get or find something you like, you keep looking for "fan of it" or "Save to favorites" buttons.

16. You barely ever go on any other websites. Come to think of it.........what other websites even exist outside of Fanpop??

Your Score-Count how many of the above apply to you:

1-3: Yeah, you spend time on here. So?
4-8: You REALLY like Fanpop. You spend quite a bit of time on here.
9-11: You have a bit of an obsession. You spend A LOT of time on here.
12-15: You've got OFS-Obsessive Fanpop Syndrome. You probably never leave your computer. As much as I love Fanpop, I would recommend getting help.

Do you spend too much time on Fanpop? I know I do!

Heartbleed.

What the fucking hell is that?

warning: technical talk

A vulnerability in OpenSSL was known to be the "greatest bug evar".

Why would I care?

techy guys: How does it work?

Is Fanpop vulnerable?

Ideekay if the F4 uses port 443 for OpenSSL.
I ran some tests to no avail.

Am I vulnerable?

You may be susceptible, directly or indirectly.

How do I protect myself?
PFS (Perfect Forward Secrecy) may help, but it's sort of like legendarily rare.

IDS (such as Snort) may be trained to detect.

Proxies? My god, no.

Honeypots? Useful if you want to look at assholes trying to exploit...

Hello. I am here to inform you on what may be going on. I know about all of those glitches on the top contributors lists and everything. I'm very unhappy about it. I mean, we worked hard for our place, and get kicked out for someone who is inactive. They did their part a long time ago, and the past is in the past. Now it's OUR time. We should earn back our places, but I don't think we will until we work even harder. On the My Little Pony club, I have been kicked off 2 places. 2 users got a fanatic when they do nothing. I have been trying to earn my spot back for about 1 or 2 months now, but...
